Moreover, this Compound I has very low toxicity to bleeding animals (in an acute toxicity test on rats, even when 9 was administered at 4,000 da/min, the mortality rate was 0), and in the standard test conducted, there was no sudden change! Since I was not introduced to Ahara,
It is suitable for use in combating ant infestations in environments with human or livestock access or in farmland.

For this reason, it was found to be effective to prepare poisonous baits suitable for ants. The poisonous bait is then sprayed near the ant nest so that the worker ants draw the larvae into the nest to feed. It has also been found that Compound I is suitable for the preparation of this poison bait. Thus, another object of the present invention is to provide a bait containing Compound 1 and other additives as optional ingredients diluted with a nutrient that is palatable to ants.

Also, since the larvae are fed by plow ants that gather nutrients outside the nest, poisonous baits are ideal for delivering active compounds to the larvae in a capillary manner.

When considering the known behavioral, social organization and habitat analogies, and also the analogy between the damage caused by ants and the damage caused by termites, it is possible to address the ant infestation that is the object of the present invention. The methods and compositions and baits can be extended to combat termite infestations without significant modification.
