Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は内面を合成樹脂で被覆した耐食性金属容器の製
造方法に関する。
従来腐食性の強い液体を保管する場合には、ステンレス
鋼製タンク、金属めっき鋼板製タンクや内面樹脂コーチ
ング製タンクなどが使用されていた。しかしステンレス
鋼製タンクでは液体の温度や種類により隙間腐食の発生
する危険性があったし、金属めっき鋼板製タンクではそ
の接合に問題があるばかりでなく、挿入可能な液体によ
っては腐食を防止することが困難であった。また内面樹
脂コーティングタンクでは耐食性は優れているもののタ
ンクにカロエした後コーティングする必要があり、この
場合外部と連通している部分は狭い注入口や供給口だけ
であるだめ、前処理後の乾燥や被覆後の焼付けに時間が
かかり、生産性は非常に低いものであった。壕だ被覆は
通常浸漬法により行っていたが、この方法の場合−回当
りの被覆厚みは厚くすることができず、また被覆厚みも
均一になるという欠点があった。
本発明は上述の欠点を解消した耐食性金属容器の製造方
法を提供するものである。
本発明は容器用素材として合成樹脂金属積層板を用いて
該積層板を成型することにより内面に合成樹脂が被覆さ
れた容器部材を製造シ1、その後裔容器部材を合せて合
成樹脂を融着させ、これにより各容器部材を接合して容
器を製造しようとするものである。
以下図面により本発明を具体的に説明する。
本発明において容器を製造しようとする場合、素材とし
て合成樹脂金属積層板を用いる。この積j−板の種類と
しては第1図(a)に示すように金属板1の片面に合成
樹脂2を積層したものと、第1図(b)に示すように余
端板1の両面に合成樹脂2を積層したものがあるが、本
発明の場合これらのいずれでも使用することができる。
次にこの積層板を所定の大きさに切断し、それを絞り加
工して第2図に示すようなフランジ3を有する容器部材
4,4aにする。なお素材として片面合成樹MW金属積
層板を用いた場合には合成樹脂2の面が内側になるよう
に絞り加工を行う。
このようにしてフランジ3を有する容器部材4゜4aを
製造しだ後両容器部材4,4aを合わせてフランジ3の
合成樹脂2面を接触させ、その後フランジ3の部分を加
圧しながら加熱してそこに積層されている合成樹脂2を
相互に融着させる。なおこの溶着の際容器部材4,4m
が両面合成樹脂金属積層板を用いた本のであると、フラ
ンジ3の部分を接触加圧すると合成樹脂が一部除去され
るので、加圧は合成樹脂が溶融しない部分に加え、加熱
(は非接触法により行う。第3図はこのようにして製造
した容器を示す。
以上容器部材としてフランジを有する場合の製造方法に
ついて説明したが、フランジを有しない場合は次のよう
にして製造する。まず前記同様に絞り加工を行った後そ
のしわ押え部を除去して第4図に示すように相嵌合可能
な容器部材4,4aを製造する。その後嵌合した場合内
側となる方の容器部材4aの切口端面を合成樹脂シール
剤5でシールし、次いで内容器部材4.48を第5図の
ように嵌合させて、容器部材4側の合成樹脂2でもって
両部材4,4aを融着させる。
仮って以上のようにしで容器を製造すれば、容器の内面
はすべて合成樹脂に被覆されていることになり、水に対
して耐食性を有する。
実施例 板厚1.0 rran、  300ynm角の冷延鋼板
の片面に熱融着性を有するポリプロピレン樹脂を200
μ積層して片面合成樹脂金属積層板を製造した後該積層
板を円筒状に絞り加工して深さ50#、直径120+m
nのフランジ付内面合成樹脂容器部材を2個製造した。
その後この部材のフランジ部分を相互に合せ、その部分
を195℃に加熱して金型で押え、両側の合成樹脂を融
着させた。第6図に得られた容器の側面を示す。冷却後
との容器を第6図点線の如く切断して、第7図に示すよ
うな試験片(l13W=25胴、長さt = 50 m
m )を作成し、それを長さ方向に引張って剥離強度を
調査した。その結果剥離強度は18.1〜19.3醇/
25胸と太きかった。また前記のような試験片を作成し
、その切口端面、未積層面をシールして塩水噴霧試験(
JIS−Z・2371)を1000時間行ったが、赤錆
の発生はみられなかった。
以上の如く、本発明の製造方法は合成樹脂金属積層板を
用いて容器部材を製造し、その製造した容器部材の積層
した合成樹脂をもって各部材を融着接合するのであるか
らその製造は従来の方法に比べて能率的であり、また品
質的にも合成樹脂を厚く、均一にすることができるので
、すぐれた耐食性を発揮する。
また、本方法で容器を製造する場合には加熱融者で接合
できるため異種金属を組合せた容器、金属と非金属を組
合せた容器など簡単に製造出来る。
さらに、接合および隙間腐食防止のみを目的とするなら
ばフランジ面に熱M!11着性を有する合成樹脂を挿入
して加熱加圧して接合することも可能でありその利用価
値は大きい。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 合成樹脂積層金属板を加工して、内面が合成樹脂により
    被覆された容器部材を製造し、その後裔容器部材を合せ
    て合成樹脂を融着させることにより各容器部材を接合す
    ることを特徴とする耐食性金属容器の製造方法。
