Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure the accurate fixing of a magnetic core, by forming a fitting groove of the magnetic core to the front wall of a holding case made of a heat softening material, providing a thin fixing rib to the outer wall of said groove and deforming the rib with pressing under heat softening with the inner wall of the groove set as the positioning reference surface of the magnetic core. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic core 1 containing a coil 2, a terminal plate 4 and a terminal pin 5 is supported in a holding case 3 of a heat softening material like Zn, poly acetal, etc. In this case, a core fitting groove 7 including an inner wall 8, a bottom wall 9 and an outer wall 10 is formed to the front wall of the case 3. Then a cut plane 23 is formed remaining a thin core fixing rib 21 stretching to the wall 10. The core 1 is put into the groove 7 and then shifted toward an arrow mark through a cut part 23 of the case 3 by means of a heating tool 24 heated up to about 450 deg.C. The tool 24 is pressed to the cut side surface 22 to soften and deform the rib 21 and then pressed to the wall 8 which is set as the positioning reference surface of the core 1. The core 1 is cooled and fixed accurately into the groove 7. In such way, a deformation so far casued by the calking is avoided without impairing the magnetic properties for the fixture of a magnetic core.

In such a configuration, a caulking punch 18 is used to secure the magnetic core 1 to the hold case 3K1m. The tip of the caulking punch 18 is formed to be smaller than the radius of the recess 12, and a taper 19 is attached to the tip. After fitting the magnetic core 1 into the magnetic core fitting groove 7,
When the tip of the caulking punch 18 is pushed into the recess s1.2 and the caulking punch 18 is forced into the concave portion 12, @ltK of the lip finia 71 is strongly pressed. From this K, the magnetic core 1 is determined to have a hold case of 31 Km.

By the way, in the caulking fixation in the first conventional example, since the magnetic core 1 is secured by caulking the rib 11, the dimensions of the magnetic core fitting groove T do not require such precision. However, in the second conventional example, the magnetic core 1
1. Although there is no risk of deformation, the magnetic core fitting groove must be formed so that the gap is as small as possible when the magnetic core 1 is fitted into the magnetic core fitting groove 7.
The drawback is that extremely strict dimensional accuracy is required.

In addition, since some gaps inevitably exist, it is impossible to control the magnetic core 11 to a constant position when bonding with adhesive, causing fluctuations in one position, and furthermore, it is difficult to automate the bonding process. It had the disadvantage of being brewed.

A magnetic core fitting groove T is formed. Both sides of the front wall of the hold case 3 are notched at the top, leaving a thin fixing rib 21''Ik adjacent to the magnetic core fitting groove T. Reference numeral 22 denotes a notched surface. , 23 indicate cutout planes. The rib 21 is formed by the outer wall 10 of the magnetic core fitting groove T and the cutout side surface 22.In this invention, the hold case 3 The material is a substance that softens and deforms due to heat,
For example, zinc, boria heptatar resin, etc. are used.

In this way, in this invention, the lip 21 is softened and deformed by the pressure of the heating jig 24, and the magnetic core 1 is fixed in a state where it is pressed against the assembly reference surface A, which is the inside @11BK. Since the example magnetic core 1 is simply pressed against the inner wall, which is the assembly reference surface, the magnetic core 1 can be accurately positioned at a predetermined position without requiring dimensional accuracy of other parts.
It enjoys excellent effects in that it can be easily assembled without using any adhesive and can be assembled automatically.
