Claims (2)
装置と、録再ヘッドと、該記録テープと該録再ヘッドと
の相対位置を制御する相対位置制御装置とを備えたテー
プ走行装置において、発光素子によって構成される投光
装置と、複数個の受光素子によって構成される受光装置
を備え、該投光装置と該受光装置が形成する光路の一部
が該記録テープによって遮蔽される様に該投光装置と該
受光装置を録再ヘッド近傍に設けて該受光装置の受光量
の変化によって該記録テープのテープ巾方向の移動量を
検出し、その検出結果によって該記録テープと該録再ヘ
ッドとの相対位置を制御するようにしたことを特徴とす
