Description
【発明の詳細な説明】
本発明は銅、銅合金、その他の金属の結晶模様を装飾体
の素材として利用することができるようにする装飾体の
製法に関するものである。

金属例えば銅の場合、鋳物にするとその表面には実に美
しい銅結晶模様が現われる。しかし、銅の場合は非常に
酸化しやすい金属のため、短時間に酸化被膜が表面を覆
い、結晶模様を消失させてしまう。

本発明者はこの美しい結晶模様を保存し、この結晶模様
を例えば屋内装置品、壁材、タイル材、化粧箱、額等に
利用する方法を鋭意研究した。

その結果、結晶模様の現われた表面を透明体で被覆し、
空気との接触を断つ方法を試みた。この方法による七、

空気を透過せず、透明性を有し、被覆する加工性を考慮
すると、透明体にはプラスチック系のフィルムを使用す
るのがよい。勿論、他の透明物質をコート又は真空蒸着
などの方法により金属の表面に構成してもよい。

以下本発明の一実施例を銅を素材とした場合について詳
記する。

第１図は本発明製法の工程図にして、先ず第１図Ａに示
すように溶鋼を鋳型１内に注入してＣに示すような平板
状の鋳物２をつくる。これをＣに示すように研摩したの

本発明は以上のように銅等の金属であって結晶模様の現
われるものを素材とし、これをプラスチックフィルム、
その他の透明体、空気透過率の小さい物質で被覆し、表
面酸化を防止するものであるから、長期間に亘って結晶
模様美をたのしむことができる。そこで、各種金属を素
材とし、この特開昭５８−２０１７００ （２） 結晶模様を現わし、例えば壁材、タイル材、各種の化粧
材、美術品、屋内装置品等に適用することで、従来にな
い美観を提供することが出来る。

Claims (1)
- 銅、銅合金、その他の金属の表面を機械的又は化学的な
方法により除錆処理を行ない、次に直ちにこの表面を透
明体であって空気の透過性のない物体で被覆し、金属の
結晶模様が酸化により消失しないように構成し、これを
装飾体の素材として利用するようｋする金属の結晶模様
を活がした装飾体の製法。
