Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、高圧管用の電気絶縁性の管継手であって、補
強された合成樹脂より成る1つの管と金属管とから構成
されている形式のものに関する。
この場合補強された合成樹脂とは、補強されていない同
じ合成樹脂に比べてすべての所望の性質を呈するような
合成樹脂を指す。
この改善を達成するために合成樹脂は補強及び(又は)
充填添加物を含み、これは通例、粉末状物質、短繊維及
びエンドレス繊維、ロービング、マット、フリース及び
織物より成り、これらは補強すべき合成樹脂に比べて例
えば数倍も高い弾性係数、高い引張及び圧縮強度、良好
な結合性並びに堅牢性を有する。
このような補強材料は殊にガラス繊維、セラミック繊維
、アスベスト繊維、合成繊維、サイザル、金属線、単結
晶繊維及び炭素繊維である。
合成繊維のうち殊にポリアミド繊維及びポリエステル繊
維が効果的であり、これらはロービング、ステーブル繊
維及び織物の形で合成樹脂内へ補強挿入物として入れら
れる。
合成樹脂としてはポリエステル樹脂、エポキシ樹脂、フ
ェノール樹脂、メラミン樹脂、シリコン樹脂、炭化水素
樹脂、ビニールエステル樹脂、アクリル樹脂などの樹脂
、硬化剤組合せが役立ち、これらの樹脂は特定の性質を
改善するために特定の作用基によって修正され且つ化学
的添加剤並びに填料を含んでいることができる。
補強された合成樹脂より成る管は周知であり且つ多数の
分野で使用される。
これらの管はその良好な機械的及び化学的性質のために
、殊に比較的均一に良好な性質及び大きな直径を有する
合成樹脂管を製作することが可能になって以来、鋼及び
鉄、セラミック、コンクリート及びガラスのような他の
材料より成る管と並んで使用されている。
約1〜2m及びそれ以上の極めて大きい直径を有する管
の場合、特に管継手を更になお耐圧性に構成しておかね
ばならない場合、漏洩のない管継手は依然として困難で
且つ費用がかかった。
従って本発明の課題とするところは、たんに漏洩がない
だけでなく耐圧性でもあらねばならない大直径の管の継
手を構成することにあるが、しかし本発明による提案は
勿論、小口径の管にも適用することができる。
更に本発明は互いに異なる材料例えば鋼と合成樹脂並び
に相互に親和力を全く又は殆んど有していない異なる合
成樹脂より成る管を結合するという課題にも関する。
本発明は更に、付加的の機械的の部材、例えばフランジ
、シール板、ケージ、ねじ込み結合部材などを必要とす
ることなしにガス密で、液密で且つ耐圧性であるように
せんとする場合には、管継手をどのように構成しておく
べきかということを課題とする。
このような課題を本発明は次のようにして解決した。
即ち、互いに向き合う端部が間隔をおいて軸線方向で整
列された1対の金属管と金属管の端部を包囲する電気絶
縁性の補強された合成樹脂から成る管状コネクタとから
成っており、金属管端部の外周部に少なくとも1つの円
周溝が形成されており、管状コネクタは金属管端部に一
体に積層成形されていて、管状コネクタの端部に金属管
端部の円周溝内に密着する内向きの環状突起が形成され
ているのである。
電気絶縁性の管継手自体は例えばオーストIJア共和国
特許第302748号明細書によって知られている。
この公知例の場合、管系に組み付ける目的で、電気絶縁
性の材料から製作した連結片に金属製の2つのソケット
管が継手によって結合された構造をなしており、これら
ソケット管の端部が管系に溶接される。
本発明によればこのような電気絶縁性の管継手が大幅に
改良され、最高度の耐圧性を保つと共に縦方向の伸びが
全くないか又は極めてわずかであるような管継手の大量
生産が可能になる。
即ち本発明の場合、向き合う金属管端部が壁厚を大きく
されていて、これら両方の金属管端部の外周部に補強さ
れた合成樹脂から積層成形された管状コネクタの両端部
が緊密にかぶさる多数のっぽおよび円周溝が階段状に隣
接し合って形成されているのである。
本発明による管継手はあらゆる周知の形式で1つの巻付
は機で作られることができるが、しかし一定の作業形式
が殊に時間をとらないこさが判った。
これにより更に、例えば1000〜2400朋の大きな
直径を有する導管用の高強度の電気絶縁性の管継手を確
実に製作することができる。
本発明による製作法の要旨は次の点にある、即ち合成樹
脂管を90°以下の巻付角度で綾巻法で積層成形し且つ
円周溝の範囲で付加的に約90゜巻付角度で積層成形す
るのである。
実施の際に個々の作業段階の内部で厳守すべき巻付角度
関係は周知のように1つの自動制御された積層成形プロ
グラムにまとめることができる。
これにより、機械での積層成形結果に影響を及ぼし得る
他のすべてのパラメータをコンスタントに保って自動的
に高強度の継手を作ることができ、これらの継手はもっ
ばら半径方向の伸び率を有するだけで縦伸び率を有せず
従って導管内へそれを取付けた後に、温度変動の際に該
導管に生じる伸びを少くとも部分的に補償する。
金属管端部の内面に関して同じ高さに位置させられてい
るそれぞれ2つの溝内でのびている合成樹脂管層の各々
を綾巻法で積層成形し且つ次いで初めて約990の角度
で巻くことによって積層体に属する両方の溝を完全にふ
さぐのが適当である。
例えば綾巻法で往−復一往巻付の各々ごとに機械を切換
えて、両方の溝の1方を少しづつふさぐようにすること
も可能であるが、しかし上記の作業形式により迅速且つ
良好な結果が得られる。
更に、3層に積層成形された合成樹脂管において内方及
び外方の層を綾巻法で中央の層よりも綾い角度で積層成
形すれば、例えば20001mの直径で100気圧の内
圧に6倍の安全率で耐える極めて高い強度を有する管継
手を作り得ることが判明した。
各積層体の内部で層と呼ばれる往−復一往巻付けは一定
の組織を有することができる。
各巻層の内部で往復巻付けが+60°もしくは一60°
の巻付角度でおこなわれており且つそれに続いて当該の
層を閉じる往巻付けが0.6°の角度で従って平行巻と
して実施されているようにすれば、改善された強度が生
じる。
しかしまた、個々の巻表層をもっばら、往巻付けを約+
86°の角度で且つ往巻付けを約−4゜の角度で絶えず
繰返す綾巻法で構成することも可能である。
管端部を相応して構成すれば、合成樹脂管の製作を次の
ようにおこなうことができる、即ち1つの積層成形層群
の少くとも1つの規定された巻層が管端部に設けられた
環状配置のピンの間のジグザグ綾巻付けとその上にのせ
られた円周方向巻付けとから構成するのであって、これ
についてはあとでなお詳細に説明する。
次に添付図面について本発明を詳説する。
例えば120ゲージ気圧の運転圧力下にある高圧導管の
大口径の管の電気絶縁性の管継手のためには第1図に示
す実施形が有利であると判った。
金属管2の1端部は拡開されて1つのソケット部4を形
成しており、このソケットは先ず薄肉にされ且つ次いで
その端部に段面12を有するつば3を備えている。
この管端部はその内径のところまで詰物をつめられてい
る。
段面12を形成して僅かだけ張出ているつば3のところ
までのソケット部4の外面及びそれに続いている詰物表
面に補強された合成樹脂より成る層がかぶせてあり、こ
の層は積層成形された管状コネクタとしての合成樹脂管
1を形成する。
管継手の詰物は極めて種々の形式に構成しておくことが
でき、且つ少くとも2つの層21〜25・より成ること
ができ、そのうちの少くとも1つの層はポリエステル繊
維及びエポキシ樹脂と微粒雲母のような高い電気絶縁性
を有する材料より成る。
大口径の導管用の耐高圧性の管継手の場合、詰物が図示
のように1番内側の層として既製されている連結片21
を有し この連結片21が補強された合成樹脂より成り
且つ鋼製の1つの補強スリーブ23のほかになお1つの
保護層22を有しているようにするのが有利である。
電気絶縁性の管継手を作る場合には先ずこの連結片21
を管2のソケット部4内へ圧入及び(又は)接着する。
この半製品をマンドリル上にはめ且つ次いで2つのソケ
ット端の間の環状室に層状に亀裂防止層24及び絶縁補
強層25並びに補強された合成樹脂より成る層を詰め且
つ最後にソケット部4及び詰物全体の上へ補強された合
成樹脂より成る層を1作業工程で設ける。
このように製作された電気絶縁性の単片状に組立てられ
た管継手は倉庫に保管され且つ必要なときに導管系内へ
溶接される。
第2及び3図では互いに結合すべき金属管の端部2は厚
くされ且つ互いに対称的に成形されている。
各管端部は2つのつば3及び3つの円周溝5を有し、こ
れらはそれぞれ殊に台形横断面を有している。
個々の円周溝5の横断面を相互に同じに構成しておくの
が作業上有利である。
円周溝5の外壁が直接につば3の内壁に連らなっており
このつば3がやはり殊に台形の横断面を有しているよう
にすれば、もう1つの作業上の利点が得られる。
しかし溝5及びつば3は第2及び4図に符号を付されて
いないそれらの段面12(第6図参照)と一緒にあらゆ
る他の横断面形状を有することもできる。
各つば3が半径方向の切込溝15を備えているのが有利
であり、これらの切込溝は3次元の応力状態下にある管
継手の場合に金属部分から補強された合成樹脂で構成さ
れた1つの合成樹脂管を介しての良好な力伝達を可能に
する。
つば3は半径方向に隆起例えばピン、或いはまた凹所例
えば小溝、スパイラル溝、十字溝或いは縦溝もしくは成
形されたウェブを有する半径方向及び縦溝を有すること
ができ、これにより合成樹脂管の種々の積層体の付加的
の固着がその積層成形の際に生じ得る。
ピンを配置することは周知技術である。図示の特別の実
施形では、あとでなお説明される形式に有利に製作され
た合成樹脂管1の内面と金属管端部2の互いに最も近く
にある縁面との間の範囲は詰物を詰められており、この
詰物は少くとも1つの亀裂防止層8と1つの既製されて
いる連結片10とより成り、この連結片は1つの保護層
(ライナ)18でくるまれている。
連結片10はあらゆる適当な材料で既製されることがで
きる。
繊維で補強された合成樹脂より成るのが有利である。
亀裂防止層8はコイル、ダイヤフラム、フリース、マッ
ト、織物及び樹脂層から構成されている。
金属管端部2の互いに最も近くにある両方の端面は1つ
の溝16を有することができ、この溝内へ1つのシール
リング11が挿入されており、このシールリングは連結
片10の保護層(ライナ)18を押す。
合成樹脂管1の外側に部分的に保護管9をかぶせておく
ことができ、この保護管は特にすべての円周溝の範囲を
おおう。
保護管の間の範囲で且つその外表面とアライメントして
、軟弾性で且つ電気絶縁性の流込成形物より成る1つの
保護層14を設けておくことができる。
なおまた管継手全体に絶縁テープの層(図示せず)を巻
付は且つ管外面塗装を施しておくことができる。
第4図は異なる直径の管の間の中間移行部としての1つ
の径違片についての1実施例を管継手の縦断面の1部分
で示し、その際管端部2の増厚は大きい内径の管では管
軸線に向いた方向に且つ小さい内径の管では管軸線から
離反する方向におこなわれている。
両方の金属管端部2及び保護層(ライナ)18をかぶせ
られた既製の連結片10と亀裂防止層8とより成る詰物
を積層成形機の図示されていない1つの受容機構内へ挿
入した後に直ちに、補強されている合成樹脂管1をあら
ゆる周知の形式で積層成形することができる。
巻付けられる表面に先ず接着剤層を設けるのが有利であ
り、その際接着剤として合成樹脂管の補強繊維を結合す
るのと同じ樹脂或いは互いに両立し得る多数の樹脂の組
合せを使用することができる。
既に前に述べたように、熱硬化性合成樹脂で含浸されて
おり且つ合成樹脂管での容積分が樹脂なしに計算して殊
に60容量φ以上である補強繊維を巻付けることは、次
のように実施される、即ち図示の管継手において該管継
手がその中を通過する流体によって内圧をうけるときに
、たんに円周方向の伸びが生じるだけで且つまた軸方向
の伸びが生じないようにされる。
圧力下の管体内には半径方向、軸方向及び接線方向応力
が生じる。
これらの力を吸収するために繊維は巻付層内で一定の方
向に配夕1ルて巻付けられる。
その際に使用される一定の巻付角度関係によって合成樹
脂管は殊にこれらの応力を引張力として吸収することの
できるインテンソイドの形の規定された繊維組織を有し
、その際極めて有利な場合にはすべての繊維が同時にそ
れらの強度限界に達する。
殊に有利な1実施形では個々の層の巻付けは綾巻法で種
々異なる巻付角度でおこなわれ、その際3つの積層体で
積層成形された合成樹脂管の場合内方及び外方の積層体
を中央の積層体よりもゆるい角度で積層成形することに
より、良好な曲げ強度のほかに極めて高い破裂強度を得
ることが可能である。
合成樹脂管の場合次のようにすることによって半径方向
で外方に向って作用する圧力の吸収を更に一層改善する
ことができる。
即ち合成樹脂管の構成壁厚全体に関してこの壁厚の約5
〜10係だけ亀裂防止層8上に直接に、円周方向に巻か
れた層をのせ、この層に1番内側の積層体の終了まで、
次いで第2の積層体全体として且つ最後に1番上の積層
体の大部分として綾巻付けを接続し、次いで1番上の層
として且つ1番上の積層体の完了まで約2〜5係の厚み
だけもう1度円周方向に巻いた層を設ける。
合成樹脂管の規定された積層成形形式による本発明によ
る管継手を作るための有利な方法のほかに、管の口径、
輸送圧力及び管継手にかかるすべての負荷の種類並びに
組合せに関連して、円周層内へ単一方向性のロービング
又はロービング織物を挿入した他の積層成形形式も可能
である。
自明なように、上記のすべての個々の特徴を任意に組合
せて、使用することができ、これによって本発明の更に
別の多数の実施形が生じる。
特に、本発明による実施形を対状に実現した前に述べた
形式の絶縁作用を有する管継手は本発明の範囲内に属す
る。
本発明による形式で互いに結合される管のための本明細
書で述べた材料はたんに例としてあげられただけであり
、且つ自明なように、適当な他の材料をこの代りに使用
することもできる。
即ち例えば補強挿入物として硼素繊維を□使用すること
もでき、これは周知のように極めて細いタングステン線
上へ硼素蒸気を凝縮させることによって製造され且つ極
めて高い弾性係数を有している。
本発明による管継手の実施形を一定の使用目的にできる
だけ良好に適合されるために、自明なように、材料とし
て、適当なパーセントの種々の補強材料より成る補強物
を有する合成樹脂を使用することもできる。
本発明による管継手によって合成樹脂管を互いに連結し
ようとする場合には、これによって繊維で補強された合
成樹脂より成る自体周知で且つ簡単に製作できる取付器
具の使用が可能になるという利点があり、このような取
付器具は同じ強度の他の合成樹脂例えばポリ塩化ビニー
ルより成る取付器具に比べて、高い寸法精度及び破裂強
度において、極めて僅かな壁厚ひいては僅かな重量の点
で優れている。

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1 管継手であって、高圧管用の電気絶縁性のものにお
    いて、互いに向き合う端部が間隔をおいて軸線方向で整
    列された1対の金属管と金属管の端部を包囲する電気絶
    縁性の補強された合成樹脂から成る管状コネクタとから
    成っており、金属管端部の外周部に少なくとも1つの円
    周溝が形成されており、管状コネクタは金属管端部上へ
    積層成形されていて、管状コネクタの端部に金属管端部
    の溝内に密着する内向きの環状突起が形成されているこ
    とを特徴とする、管継手。 2 金属管の互いに向き合う端部が壁厚を大きくされて
    いて、その外周部に多数のつば3及び円周溝5が階段状
    に隣接して形成されていることを特徴とする特許請求の
    範囲第1項記載の管継手。
