Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は原画を円筒に巻きつけ螺線状に走査し、これを
電気的信号に変換して記録紙またはフイルム上に再生記
録するファクシミリ、または複写機などで用いられる半
円筒状に丸められた記録紙またはフイルム(以下紙とい
う)を截断する装置に関するものである。
従来、この種の截断装置としては、第1図に示すように
半円筒状に丸められた紙0と同一の曲率半径をもつ固定
台1と円板状の刃物2を有し回動桿3によって刃物2を
固定台1に強く押し付けながら回転して紙Oを截断する
ものが用いられていた。
この截断装置では、刃物2の刃先が固定台1に直接強く
圧接されるため、刃物2または固定台1のいずれか一方
あるいは両方が早期に摩耗損傷してしまい、紙を切断す
ることができない欠点があった。
本発明は上記欠点を解決し、より長寿命で信頼性の高い
截断装置を得ることを目的とするものである。
第2図において固定刃4と可動刃5との交接は、固定刃
4の中心O,可動刃5の中心を02刃4と可動刃5との
交接点をPとし、固定刃4の刃先円半径をr1、可動刃
5の刃先円半径をr2とし、中心01 と中心02の中
心間距離をdとすると、交接点Pにおいて、固定刃4と
可動刃5とのなす角θはO,PO2であり、角θと半径
r1およびr2 半径r1とr2との差|r1−r2|より中心間距離d
が大きいことが、固定刃4と可動刃5とが交接点Pをも
つための条件である。
この条件と弾性体を用いることと相俟って切断性がよく
長寿命の截断装置を得ることができる。
また角θ(截断角)を適宜選定することにより、截断力
を変えることもできる。
本発明を実施例について説明する。
第3〜5図において固定刃11は丸められた紙0と同じ
曲率半径100mmの半円形凹型の刃部を有し、98m
m半径の円形の刃部を有する可動刃12は、皿ばね13
を介して偏心軸14に固着されている。
固定刃11と可動刃12との中心間距離は10mmであ
り、可動刃12は皿ばね13の弾性によって固定刃11
に圧接される。
偏心軸14にモーターのような回転駆動源(図示せず)
を連結駆動することにより、固定刃11と可動刃12の
間に位置する半円筒状に丸められた紙を固定刃11と可
動刃12とが切断中常に1点で交接し、良好な截断を行
なうことができ、長い寿命を有する。
第6〜8図は可動刃22を駆動する他の実施例であり、
上記実施例と同様に固定刃21の半径は100mm、可
動刃22の半径は98mm、中心間距離は101mmで
ある。
固定刃21と可動刃22は2組のリンク23によって連
結され、ばね24はリンク23を介して可動刃22を固
定刃21に圧接する。
リンク25は左右のリンク23が死点に位置して可動刃
22の動きが不安定になるのを防いでいる。
可動刃22は平行回転するので回転駆動源(図示せず)
を可動刃22の任意の位置に取付けることが可能であり
、偏心軸26の位置にモーターを取り付けて紙Oの截断
を切断性良く行なうことができ、寿命を延長することが
できる。
第9〜11図は可動刃32を駆動する他の実施例であり
、固定刃31の半径100mm,可動刃32の半径96
mmおよび中心間距離6mmに設定した。
固定刃31と可動刃32とはピン33によって互いに回
転できるように連結され、ピン33と同じ軸に取り付け
られたばね34によって可動刃32は固定刃31に圧接
されている。
可動刃32の一端に設けられたレバー35を用い、手動
により紙0を截断するのに特に適している。
この装置も良好な截断ができ著しい耐久性を有する。
実施例においては円形および半円形の刃部を有する可動
刃を用いたが、紙を切断する部分が半円形凸型の刃部を
有する可動刃であれば、いずれを用いてもよい。
以上に記述するように本発明は半円形凹型の固定刃と半
円形凸型の可動刃を組合わせ、弾性体により固定刃と可
動刃を圧接し、固定刃と可動刃が確実な接触を保ちなが
ら切断中常に一点の交接点で切断が行なわれるため、切
断性が良く、著しく耐久性の高い、構造簡単な截断装置
を得ることができる。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 1 半円形凹型の刃部をもつ固定刃と半円形凸型の刃部
    をもつ可動刃とを有し、前記固定刃に前記可動刃を弾性
    体により圧接し、前記固定刃と前記可動刃のそれぞれの
    刃部半径の中心間距離が前記固定刃と前記可動刃のそれ
    ぞれの刃部半径の差よりも大きい範囲で前記可動刃を駆
    動して前記固定刃の刃部と前記可動刃の刃部が常に一点
    の交接点をもって切断を行なう構造を特徴とする半円筒
    状に丸められた紙の截断装置。
