In the floating debris removal device shown in Figure 1, a wire mesh frame a is placed on the water surface and floating debris is blocked by a wire mesh b to prevent the debris from flowing into the oil recovery vessel. If the oil accumulates, it will also prevent the oil from flowing to the oil recovery vessel.
Garbage must be removed at the input.

The present invention has been made to eliminate the drawbacks of the conventional floating debris removal device described above, and to remove floating debris that is not intended to flow into the oil recovery device together with the oil before the oil recovery device. One end of the lower frame, which is rotatably formed by an appropriate means, is pivoted to an appropriate position on the ship, and a bottom frame support is attached at an appropriate position extending in the longitudinal direction of the ship from the pivot position of the lower frame. One end is pivotally attached, and a bottom frame having a mesh member to prevent floating debris from flowing out is pivotally attached to the other end of each of the lower frame and the bottom frame support, and the lower frame and the bottom frame support are pivoted. A link mechanism is formed by the bottom frame and the bottom frame support, and an upper frame formed into a packet shape by a mesh member is connected to the lower frame on an arm pivoted on substantially the same axis as the rotation center of the lower frame. This invention relates to a floating debris removal device for an oil recovery vessel, characterized in that the device is installed so as to be supported by the oil recovery vessel.

In the embodiments of the present invention, the case where the floating garbage removal device is used on a catamaran ship has been described, but it can also be applied to barges that require crossing, and it can also be applied to cleaning vessels dedicated to garbage. It goes without saying that it is also possible to employ a hydraulic cylinder or a pneumatic cylinder other than a winch as the lifting means, and that various other changes can be made without departing from the gist of the present invention.
