。Conventionally, flat yarns that were only dyed in their entirety were dyed.
The present invention provides a method for dyeing a flat yarn or cheese (hereinafter simply referred to as cheese) while retaining the characteristics of the flat yarn.゛As shown in Fig. 82%3, flat yarn refers to a haze whose cross-sectional width a with respect to the fiber axis is several times to several thousand times the thickness b, but flat yarn has a characteristic characteristic due to its flat shape. Because of its lightness, swamp, and waist, it is often used in clothing, hats, and other miscellaneous goods. Conventionally, flat yarns have been dyed in their entirety using a total dyeing machine such as a jet dyeing machine or a rotary pack so that the characteristics of the flat yarns are not lost during dyeing. If flat yarn wound into a cheese shape can be dyed using a cheese dyeing machine, processes such as winding and rewinding onto the bobbin after dyeing can be omitted, and dyed yarn that retains the characteristics of flat yarn can be obtained. However, it is difficult to wrap the flat thread in cheese so that it can be dyed. In other words, when winding a flat yarn around a dyeing tube with holes, if you wind it so that it becomes a soft yarn waste that allows the dye solution to pass through, the flat yarn tends to cause the yarn layer to collapse, making winding itself difficult. Even if it can be wound, the thread layer may collapse during dyeing, or the winding density (
This causes variations in the yarn weight (9/ctA), resulting in streaks. If the yarn layer is tightly wound, it can prevent the yarn layer from collapsing, but the dye solution cannot pass through the yarn layer, and uniform dyeing is not achieved and streaks occur.

'We have discovered that colors are possible, and have come up with the present invention.

When dyeing a flat yarn whose width a is 5 times or more than the thickness b, the flat yarn is heated in advance with the number of twists within the range shown by the formula below, and then placed in a perforated tube. The present invention relates to a method for dyeing flat yarn, which is characterized in that the yarn is dyed after being rolled into a cheese or cone shape.

That-
The reason seems to be that the twist imparted to the flat yarns acts to improve the hooking of the yarns when adjacent yarns come into contact with each other and when each yarn layer system comes into contact with each other.

Yes, even if you can wrap it, the thread waste will crumble during the dyeing process and cause streaks.

Only dyed thread can be obtained. From the point of view of uniform dyeing and retention of the characteristics as a flat yarn, a more preferable range of the number of twists T is 1jZJi1'' to 0/δ.

Any of the following can be used: a flat yarn which is cut into a certain width after being formed, a flat yarn obtained by pressing thermoplastic synthetic fibers with a heating roll, a flat yarn obtained by melting and adhering the surface of a multifilament, etc.

In addition, it is necessary that the width a is 5 times or more the thickness b.

に染色可能であるため本発明の範囲から除外される。If the width a is 02 mm or less, it is not clear to the naked eye whether or not it is a flat thread. That is, it does not have any characteristics as a flat thread. If the width a is 2 or more, it is difficult to apply the twists evenly within the range specified by the present invention, and it is difficult to obtain a flat yarn of good quality. Flat yarns whose width 1 is within 5 times the thickness b have air gaps between the wound yarns, so even if they are wound tightly to the touch, the winding density is low and it can be easily and uniformly dyed. Therefore, they are excluded from the scope of the present invention.

The dyeing was carried out at 0°C. The obtained dyed yarn was a uniformly dyed yarn with almost no difference in gloss, texture, etc. compared to a non-twisted fully dyed yarn. For comparison, a flat yarn twisted at 30 twists per meter, which is outside the scope of the present invention, was used on a dyeing bobbin.
It was impossible to wind more than 9 times. Also, /70 times/11
Threads twisted more than L do not lose their rays as flat yarns and become rounded yarns with low commercial value.

I wrapped too q thread around Owm's cheese dyeing tube. The winding density was o, 3t 9/ctA. The wound flat yarn was loaded into a cheese dyeing machine and dyed according to a conventional method. The obtained dyed yarn was a uniformly dyed yarn with almost no difference in gloss, texture, etc. compared to untwisted yarn colored yarn. For comparison, a flat yarn twisted 79 times, which is outside the range of the present invention, could be wound with a winding density of Q3 Otsu9, but the dyed medium yarn layer collapsed, resulting in streaks. In addition, in the winding process of the tube for cheese dyeing, the twist moved at locations where the flat yarn was rubbed, such as in the yarn guide, resulting in an unevenly twisted state and did not have uniform properties. On the other hand, flat yarns twisted with a twist of /,00 times/m or more were rounded and had very different luster, texture, etc.
