Conventionally, for this purpose, ink of an appropriate concentration is jetted or applied onto the surface of an ink supply roll made of a liquid-permeable material.
Ink was supplied by bringing this roll into direct pressure contact with a rotatably driven printing drum or by bringing it into pressure contact via an ink transfer roll.

However, it is difficult to maintain the concentration of ink supplied to the printing surface within an appropriate range for a long period of time, and there are also problems such as the lower part of the ink supply roll being stained with ink.

However, when using such an ink supply roll that allows ink to flow in, the ink remains in the ink supply roll, so a large amount of ink permeates into the ink supply roll when printing is stopped, and when printing resumes, the type is not printed. The amount of ink supplied to the printer becomes excessive.

For this reason, if the material to be printed is a metal material that does not absorb ink, the printed mark will be too dark and unclear, and it will take time to dry, making it impossible to pack the product immediately.

That is, when a mark is printed on a material, such as a metal, into which ink does not permeate, there is a problem that fluctuations in the amount of ink supplied to the ink supply roll have a sensitive effect on the shading of the mark.

The present invention was developed for the purpose of supplying an appropriate amount of ink of an appropriate concentration to the type on the printing drum of a metal printer only during printing, and printing can be performed directly from the ink supply roll or via an ink transfer roll. In an ink supply device configured to transfer ink to a drum, the ink supply roll is made of a liquid-permeable material having a hollow part inside, and a conduit for supplying atomized ink into the hollow part. This is an ink supply device for a metal printer, characterized in that the ink supply device for a metal printer is connected to the hollow portion, and is capable of ejecting atomized ink into the hollow portion.

At this time, since the ink supply roll 4 is being rotated by the transmission of the rotationally driven printing drum 1, the core tube 8
The ink ejected into the core tube 8 is evenly supplied to the entire circumference of the inner surface of the core tube 8, and is sent to the cylindrical body 5 and further to the artificial leather 6 by centrifugal force from the through hole 7, and is evenly distributed around the entire circumference of the artificial leather 6.
