  1. 交流電源と、全波整流器とこの全波整流器の交流側出力
    を制御する直流側に設けられた位相制御素子とその位相
    を制御する位相制御部とこの位相制御部の出力の休止期
    間中に定電流を送出する定電流制御回路と前記位相制御
    部の出力と前記定電流制御回路の出力の論理和をとり前
    記位相制御素子を駆動する論理和回路を設けた調光器と
    、前記全波整流器の交流側に接続された安定器と放電灯
    を具備することを特徴とする放電灯調光装置。
