Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a mixture from intruding into an oil pan, by opening both ports for the mixture and air to a side housing and forming an air curtain between the port for the mixture and oil seal of a rotor. CONSTITUTION:A mixture is fed from a mixture port 4, opened to a working chamber, while air is supplied from an air port 5 via a passage 51. A rotor 3 is rotated, if the ports 4, 5 are cosed, the mixture and the air are fed between a side seal 31 and outer oil seal 32, however, the port 5 is located between the port 4 and the oil seal 32, and only the air is blown by a supercharger 7 from here, then the air is acted as an air curtain to prevent the mixture from flowing through the oil seals 32, 33, thus only the air flows passing. Accordingly, lubricating oil in an oil pan can be reduced with intruded fuel, prevented its deterioration and extended its replacement period.
