【発明の詳細な説明】
本発明は両面感熱用紙を用い感熱式印刷装置によシ乗車
券等の券の表裏両面に印刷する方法に関するものである
。

従来、鉄道の駅等において乗車券等の券を自動的に印刷
発行する装置では、装置を簡単にするため、一般に券の
片面のみに印刷する方法が採用されている。この方法で
は、券が裏返しに料金箱に投入された場合など、外面印
刷事項を裏面から識別することは困難であった。そこで
、裏面からの識別を容易にするため３次のような二つの
方法が行われている。
発行する装置では、装置を簡単にするため、一般に券の
片面のみに印刷する方法が採用されている。この方法で
は、券が裏返しに料金箱に投入された場合など、外面印
刷事項を裏面から識別することは困難であった。そこで
、裏面からの識別を容易にするため３次のような二つの
方法が行われている。
（１）紙厚の薄い用紙を用い、券の表面に印刷した事項
が裏面から透けて見えるようにする。この場合、印刷事
項が裏返しに見えることと、券の透明度に問題がアシ、
十分に識別できにくい欠点がある。

この方法で発行された券は２表面には記載事項が全部印
刷されているが、裏面には数字のみが印刷される。これ
では、やはｐ券の裏面からでは数字以外の記載事項を識
別することができない。そこで、上記のような従来の固
定印版と数字輪とによる印刷装置で、裏面に全部記載事
項を印刷しようとすると、固定印版と印刷ハンマの組合
わせを裏面用にもう一組設けねばならず、装置が複雑と
なるとともに空間も多くとるという欠点があった。

本発明は上記のような欠点を除去することを目的とする
もので、感熱式印刷装置によシ１両面に感熱層を塗布し
た感熱紙の表裏両面に印刷する方法を提供するものであ
る。

おいて表面印刷部と裏面印刷部とにまたがるように内時
刷部を接近して配置する。これは従来の固定印版と印刷
ハンマによる機構ではできないことであるが、感熱式印
刷装置は体積がかさばらないため、これが可能である。

切断して券を発行する。発行された券は表裏両面に記載
事項が印刷されているので１表裏両面から容易に外を識
別することができる。

切断して券を発行する。発行された券は表裏両面に記載
事項が印刷されているので１表裏両面から容易に外を識
別することができる。
以上述べたように２本発明に係る感熱式印刷装置による
両面印刷方法によれば、感熱ヘッドによる印刷部は体積
がかさばらず、２組接近して並設することができるので
、構成が簡単化され、また券の表面と裏面とに記載事項
を印刷することができるので１発行された券の識別が表
裏両面から容易にできる。さらに、従来の固定印版が単
一の記載事項しか印刷できなかったのに対し、感熱ヘッ
ドは画素的に印刷するので、多種類の券の印刷が容易に
できる。という利点がある。
両面印刷方法によれば、感熱ヘッドによる印刷部は体積
がかさばらず、２組接近して並設することができるので
、構成が簡単化され、また券の表面と裏面とに記載事項
を印刷することができるので１発行された券の識別が表
裏両面から容易にできる。さらに、従来の固定印版が単
一の記載事項しか印刷できなかったのに対し、感熱ヘッ
ドは画素的に印刷するので、多種類の券の印刷が容易に
できる。という利点がある。

Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 １、少なくとも１表面印刷用感熱ヘッド（１５）とその
プラテンロール（１６）とよ構成る１組の印刷部、及び
裏面印刷用感熱ヘッド（１７）とそのプラテンロール（
１８）とよ構成る１組の印刷部を有し２両面感熱印刷用
四−ル紙（１１）の表裏両面に感熱印刷を行い所定寸法
に切断して券を発行することを特徴とする感熱式印刷装
置による両面印刷方法。 ２．１枚の券がその印刷過程において素面印刷部と裏面
印刷部とにまたがるように１両印刷部を接近して配置す
るとともに２両印刷部のプラテンロールを同一駆動源に
よシ同−速度で駆動するようにした特許請求の範囲第１
項記載の感熱式印刷装置による両面印刷方法。
