It is bent and formed into a wave shape, and the outer peripheral edge side of the ridge line of the peak part is folded downward and the inner peripheral edge side of the ridge line of the valley part is folded upward to form an element divided material, and a plurality of divided materials are joined in an annular shape. Ru. Therefore, the filter element of the present invention has the folded portions on the inner and outer edges, thereby reducing the volume occupied by the filter element and ensuring a large effective filtration area.・The details of the present invention will be explained below with reference to the illustrated embodiments. ・FIGS. 4 and 5 constitute the filter element F of the present invention. This shows a divided material. To form the divided material 1A, as shown in FIG. Prepare the F material sheet 11 cut in the F material sheet 1a.The F material sheet 1a is made of F paper made of resin or glass fiber nonwoven fabric. F material sheet) 1m is alternately bent up and down along a plurality of radial lines dividing the sheet at equal angular intervals. The ridgeline 11 of each peak is the outer peripheral edge side 11 of the F material sheet.
1 is folded downward, and the ridgeline 12 of each valley is on the inner peripheral edge side 1
21 is folded upward. In the figure, the solid lines are the bending lines that form the ridges of the mountains, and the dashed-dotted lines are the bending lines that form the valleys of the mountains. Then, as shown in Fig. 4, one divided member bent as described above is shortened to 1/3 in the length direction, that is, 40@, and the thus formed 6 divided members IA+IB*IC
ID*IEtIF are joined into a ring as shown in FIG. 6 to form a filter element. In this case, the folded portion 111.121 of the ridge line 11112
can be parallel.

At this time, the pollutants are collected by the filter element 1, and the purified air passes through the reinforcement member 2 made of punched metal and passes through the vaporizer main body a.
The filter element F of the present invention is as shown in FIG.
Since the C filtration surface is arranged in an inclined direction and housed in the casing, and the outer peripheral edge side of the material sheet is folded back, it has a large effective area relative to the occupied volume.
