On the other hand, although many methods of adding crystallization nucleating agents and crystallization promoters have been studied, the crystallization speed during injection molding is still not sufficient, and compared to other plastics, molding Long cycles and in some cases crystal nucleating agents5
By adding a crystallization promoter, the surface properties such as surface gloss, mechanical properties, and ripening properties of the molded product may be significantly reduced, and additives such as the crystallization promoter may volatilize during molding, causing odor. Various problems occur, such as the generation of The reality is that there are still many points to be considered regarding the method of adding crystal nucleating agents and crystallization promoters.

A small amount (or one kind) of an organic compound having a 4-salt, a polymer compound having a metal salt of a carboxyl group, and (b) a specific amount of a specific modified polyolein or a modified olefin elastomer are blended, and further as necessary. They discovered that the above objective could be achieved by blending a specific amount of fibrous reinforcing material, and achieved YK IBJ's results.

No. 163221, polyethylene terephthalate or a polyester having at least 80 molar units of ethylene terephthalate repeating units is treated with specified amounts of components (
When a) and component (b) are combined, the crystallization rate of polyester increases, and surface properties such as surface gloss are improved.
Although it was shown that a composition useful as a molding material was provided, as a result of further intensive research, it was found that the polyester has at least 95 molar units of ethylene terephthalate repeating units and contains polyester 10% in the molecule.
If a polyethylene terephthalate resin containing 0.01 to 0.5 equivalents of an alkali metal salt of sulfonic acid is used, the crystallization rate will be even higher and the surface gloss will be better. The inventors have discovered that when a fibrous reinforcing material is blended, a set or material useful as a molding material with excellent mechanical properties can be obtained.

Conventionally, it has been known that adding fibrous reinforcing materials such as glass fibers to polyethylene terephthalate resin improves the mechanical and thermal properties of the polyethylene terephthalate resin. The molding cycle becomes longer and the mold temperature increases to about 120°C, for example.
If the temperature is below or below, crystallization will not proceed sufficiently.
Not only does the dimensional stability of the molded product deteriorate, but it also makes it impossible to fully demonstrate its original performance in both thermal and mechanical properties. To solve these problems, crystal nucleating agents and crystallization promoters are used. Various studies have been conducted on adding agents, but in this case, crystal nucleating agents, crystallization promoters, etc. can be evenly mixed and dispersed in the resin, and they can be stably compatible even during heating during injection molding. It is necessary that it does not melt and ooze out of the molded product or volatilize and escape. however,
Conventionally used additives do not have sufficient compatibility with polyethylene terephthalate resins, causing problems as they may partially separate and ooze out when heated to <K, or may evaporate and dissipate. .

In the present invention, the polyethylene terephthalate resin containing an alkali metal salt of sulfonic acid in its molecule can be prepared by simply copolymerizing a specific amount of an ester bond-forming monomer containing an alkali metal salt of sulfonic acid, or by simply copolymerizing a specific amount of an ester bond-forming monomer containing an alkali metal salt of sulfonic acid. It can be obtained, for example, by a method of melt-mixing polyester having a metal salt and polyethylene terephthalate using an extruder. Examples of ester bond-forming monomers containing an alkali metal salt of sulfonic acid include dibasic acids containing an alkali metal salt of sulfonic acid, monoesters or diesters thereof, and glycols containing an alkali metal salt of sulfonic acid. or oxycarboxylic acid derivatives are mainly used as copolymerization components, and monobasic acids or esters thereof containing alkali metal salts of sulfonic acids, monoalcohols containing alkali metal salts of sulfonic acids, etc. are used as polymerization terminators or terminals. It can also be used as a sequestering agent.

In the present invention, it is necessary to use a polyester containing 0.01 to 0.5 equivalents of an alkali metal salt of sulfonic acid per 100,000 mol of polyester in the molecule and having at least 95 molar units of ethylene terephthalate repeating units. In this case, the alkali metal salt of sulfonic acid acts as a type of crystal nucleating agent, increasing the crystallization rate of the polyester. The content of the alkali metal salt of sulfonic acid is 0.5 per 100,007 polyester.
If the amount exceeds the equivalent amount, the effect of the crystal nucleating agent will increase to some extent, but the bulky alkali metal salt of sulfonic acid will hinder molecular orientation and crystallization, and ultimately the crystallization rate will decrease. There is a tendency for this to decline. Conversely, if the content of alkali metal salt of sulfonic acid is 10,000
If the amount is less than 0.01fi per jl.

First, the polyester used in the present invention is 1
The amount of alkali v *is* of sulfonic acid in the molecule is 10
It is necessary to use a polyester containing at least 95 moles of ethylene terephthalate repeating units while suppressing 0.01 to 0.5 moles per 0001.If the number of ethylene terephthalate repeating units is less than 95 moles, even if the sulfone Even if the amount of the alkali metal salt of the acid is suppressed within the above range, there may be cases where it is difficult to increase the crystallization rate. Generally, when polyethylene terephthalate is produced from terephthalic acid or its ester derivative and ethylene glycol by a melt polymerization method, several moles of diethylene glycol units are introduced into the main chain of the polymer due to a side reaction of ethylene glycol. It is well known that copolymerization of an ester-forming monomer containing an alkali metal salt of sulfonic acid will further facilitate the formation of diethylene glycol. Production was kept low. It is desirable to use a polyester having at least 95 mole qb of ethylene terephthalate repeating units, preferably 97 mole qb or more.

If the amount is less than 10%, the compatibility with PET-8O3M and interfacial adhesion will be poor, and therefore the effect as a crystallization promoter will not be fully demonstrated. Examples of fibrous reinforcing materials used in the present invention include glass fiber, carbon lI fiber, aromatic polyamide fiber,
Although specific examples include silicon carbide fibers and #1 titanate fibers, glass fibers are usually used. In addition, it is difficult to mix and disperse the fibers evenly with the diameter of each wood fiber, i.e., the component (B) or the component (B).
If the length of the fiber is too short, the effect as a reinforcing material will be insufficient.9 Usually, fibers with a length of 0.1-10 are used, especially when the fibrous reinforcing material is glass fiber. The fiber length is preferably 0.1 to 7 mm, more preferably 0.3 to 4 mm. In addition, the fibrous reinforcement is PE
In order to improve the interfacial adhesive strength with T-8O3M and increase the reinforcing effect, it is possible to use materials treated with various compounds as necessary, but when using glass fiber as a fibrous reinforcing material, There are various surface treatment agents.

Differential calorimeters (Model DSC-1, manufactured by PerkinElmer) were used for various samples manufactured in this way.
The melting point (Tm') was determined by increasing the temperature at a rate of 28 C/min.
After holding at 0° C. for 5 minutes, cooling crystallization temperature (Tee) was measured from exothermic beeping when cooling at a rate of 20° C./min. The crystallization rate was evaluated from the TCC value, peak shape, and Δ'l'Kobata-'i'ec. In addition,
It can be said that the larger the value of 'l'cc, the sharper the peak of 'rcc, and the smaller ΔT, the higher the crystallization rate.
