On the chevron-shaped surface 21 of the pedestal 2, square tile 1 back surface 1

Surface 1 of square tile 1 due to differences in heat transfer during cooling of
1. There is a difference in the expansion and contraction rate of the back surface 18, which causes distortion, so that the corner tile 1 does not have the desired bending angle, and even during construction, the surface of the adjacent corner tile 1 becomes uneven and easily damaged. In addition, even though it is called a square tile, there are various bending angles and lengths. It is necessary to prepare various types.

。In addition, when the square tile 1 is glazed and fired,
When the entire side end surface 12 of the square tile 1 is glazed and fired,
Since the glaze flows between the square tile 1 back surface 13 pedestal 2 chevron-shaped surface 21 which are in contact with each other, the two are fused together. Therefore, when the square tile 1 is released from the pedestal 2 after firing, there is a strong tendency to damage the square tile 1, and usually, a mold release agent, alumina powder, etc. are interposed in the firing process.

It is not possible to completely prevent fusion, and it is still impossible to apply glaze to the entire side end surface 12, so depending on where the glaze is applied, the unglazed side surface may be exposed and stand out, reducing its decorative value. This results in various inconveniences, such as a significant drop in performance.

Cracks inevitably formed, making it impossible to mold the tiles in one piece and requiring separate firing. The shape of the square tiles that could be manufactured was also limited to a cross-section, making them lacking in versatility. .

It is possible to manufacture high-precision square tiles with bending angles and is easy to install.Furthermore, the entire side edge of the square tiles can be glazed, making them extremely valuable as a product, and can be applied to various cross-sectional shapes. This method was developed for the purpose of providing a method for manufacturing square tiles, and its gist is that when manufacturing a square tile of an arbitrary length with an arbitrarily bent cross-sectional shape, the back surface of the square tile is bridged between the vicinity of both tips. A process of forming the tile main body by integrally bonding it with the base plate of the flat plate that has been formed, and providing suitable notches in the base plate, and a process of firing the tile main body in a predetermined firing chamber after the forming process. and a step of dividing the square tile by shearing and removing the substrate portion from the driving portion by hitting the tile main body after the firing step.

It became possible. Therefore, there is no need for a pedestal at all, and work efficiency is significantly improved. In addition, both the front surface 81 and the back surface 88 of the square tile 8 come into contact with the same air, and are all subjected to a uniform thermal effect. Since it can be fired in
Distortion does not occur due to differences in heat transfer, and since the substrate portion 4 is integrally connected near both ends of the back surface 88 of the square tile 8, it has sufficient strength against mechanical deformation. This makes it possible to provide square tiles with extremely accurate bending angles and flatness, making it extremely easy to install, and even with various cross-sectional shapes, it is highly effective and does not cause cracks. It is extremely effective in improving workability, as it is completely unnecessary, and there is no need to prepare various pedestals depending on the shape of the square tile.
It is an efficient manufacturing method with no waste, as it is only necessary to match the ζ.

Since the glaze is formed on the surface 81 of the square tile 8,
It is possible to glaze not only the entire side end surface 82 but also the bottom back surface 34 (indicated by the two-dot chain line in FIG. 2), so that the unglazed surface will not be exposed when this is done. Therefore, the decorative value is extremely high, and as mentioned above, the forming precision is also high, so it is possible to manufacture square tiles with high commercial value such as a good appearance in terms of design.

The impact on the corner tile 8 can be buffered by dividing the substrate portion 41, and the corner tile can be easily divided and molded without damaging it.

ない。In the above embodiment, only the case where the board part is divided into eight parts was explained, but it goes without saying that the number of divisions of the board part is not limited to this. The notch portion for this purpose does not have to be provided on the substrate side as shown in the figure, but may be cut almost flush with the back surface of the corner tile or toward the inside of the corner tile. It is not limited to a cross-sectional shape, but it may be a so-called "curved shape" or a "bending shape", or a board part with a cross-sectional shape of a 7-shape, an inverted U-shape, an M-shape, a circle shape, etc. The specific tile-based structure of the present invention, the firing chamber used in the manufacturing method, the firing conditions thereof, etc. are intended to achieve the above-mentioned purpose, function, and effect. It goes without saying that these changes may be arbitrarily determined within the scope of the invention, and none of these changes change the gist of the present invention.
