Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the peeling of a dry laver sheet from a laver-wrapped rice-cake cube by its restoring force, by moistening the folding part of the dry laver sheet cut to a definite size, contacting one end of the rice-cake cube to the moistened part, and folding the sheet in U-shape and contacting closely with the cube. CONSTITUTION:A rectangular dry laver sheet delivered intermittently with the delivery belts 9, 9' is cut to a definite size by the cutters 10, 10' to obtain a dry laver sheet (a), which is pinched between the top parts of the conveyor belts 1, 1' by the aid of the counter belts 8, 8', moved downward, and sent to the horizontal part of the belts 1, 1'. The dry laver sheet (a) extending over the belts 1, 1' placed side by side is moistened along the folding line with steam ejected from the nozzle 16, and transferred by the belts 1, 1' to the position above the pinching part of the pinching and conveying belts 12, 12'. The operator takes the rice-cake cube (b) on the table 15, and pushes its one end downward through the gap between the belts 1, 1' together with the moistened part of the dry laver sheet (a). As a result, the dry laver sheet (a) is folded at the moistened part in U-shape to cover the edge of the cube (b), and brought into close contact with the cube (b) in the course of passing through the gap between the belts 12, 12'.

A conventionally well-known method involves cutting dried seaweed to a predetermined size, straddling one edge of the arare confectionery, bending it into a U-shape from the midsection, and applying it to both sides of the arare confectionery. In the seaweed wrapping process for Noara confectionery, the dried seaweed tends to peel off due to the restoring force of the folded part after it has been applied, especially when the dried seaweed is dry.
Because this phenomenon is severe when using thick fabrics, methods are used to add humidity by placing the dried seaweed in a humidifier beforehand, but humidification not only damages the luster and flavor of the dried seaweed, but also
When taking out wet dried seaweed one by one from a hopper, etc., it has problems such as lack of stiffness and making it difficult to separate.

The purpose of the present invention is to separate dried seaweed in a dry state, and to humidify only the midsection of the dried seaweed that has been cut in the seaweed rolling process 1 along the folded line, thereby solving the above-mentioned conventional problems. The construction of the illustrated embodiment will be described in detail as follows.

A pair of sponge rubber clamp transfer belts stretched between 14' and facing each other, the sandwiching side of which is directly below the adjacent space @1'' between the horizontal parts of the conveyor belts) 1 and 1'. It is installed facing forward. 15 is a conveyor bell) 1, 1'
Arare confectionery receiving stand installed on one side of the horizontal path, 16
The dry seaweed a sent from between the horizontal part of the transport bell) 1 and 1' and the opposite bell) 8 and 8' is humidified along the mid-abdomen of the transport bell) 1 and 1'. In order to achieve this, a steam injection nozzle is installed above the transport path of the dried dried seaweed (a) so as to be able to spray steam onto the surface of the dried seaweed, and is communicated with a steam generator 18 through a conduit 17. In addition, in the humidification of the dried seaweed described above, the dry seaweed a is transferred to the conveyor belts i, i'
The point at which the dry seaweed delivery bell passes between the rising part of
This may be done at the time of passing between the humidifying rollers, and the humidifying means is not necessarily limited to steam injection, but any appropriate means such as passing between humidifying rollers may be adopted. The rectangular dried seaweed material is intermittently sent out from the cutting blades 10 and 10' located directly below it.
Dried seaweed of specified size is cut into pieces by a conveyor bell)
1, 1' to the rising part of the opposing bell) 8.8' and descending to the horizontal part of the conveyor belt, sequentially being sent across the adjacent gap 1", where it is injected by the jet steam of the jet nozzle 16. Dry seaweed a that has been humidified along the cutting curve that marks the middle part of the conveyor belt that spans the 1″ gap between the conveyor belts.
The confectionery on the receiving table 15 is transferred to the upper part of the transfer bell) 1, 1/toward the end of the transfer bell) 12, 12', where the worker picks up the confectionery on the receiving table 15. If the humidified midsection of the dried seaweed a is pushed downward from the adjacent gap 1'' of the conveyor belt using its negative edge, the dried seaweed a will straddle the edge of the confectionery tray and form a U-shape with its humidified part. While being bent into a shape, it was inserted into the clamp transfer bells (12 and 12') together with the hail confectionery bowl as shown in Fig. 2, and while it passed between the transfer belts, it was folded over the sticky surface of the hail confectionery bowl. This allows the dried seaweed a to adhere closely.

As described above, according to the present invention, a piece of dried seaweed cut into a predetermined size is cut across one side edge of the arare confectionery, and then cut from the mid-abdomen.
In the well-known seaweed-wrapping process in which the confectionery that is being bent into a shape of ζ is folded over and adhered to both the front and back sides of the confectionery, the newly-curved part of the dried seaweed is preliminarily moisturized and softened along the folded line, and then the seaweed is rolled. Because of this, it is possible to eliminate the conventional drawback that the dried seaweed easily peels off from the confectionery due to the restoring force of the new part after the seaweed rolling process, and there is no need to humidify the entire dry seaweed as in the conventional method. There is no fear of spoiling the luster or flavor of the dried seaweed, and the conventional difficulties in the process of rolling confections with seaweed can be completely eliminated.

Dried seaweed cut to a predetermined size is placed over one side edge of the confectionery, bent into a U-shape from the midsection, and then folded over both the front and back sides of the confectionery. A method for wrapping confectionery in seaweed, which is characterized in that the folded part of the dry seaweed is moistened in advance along the folded line in the well-known seaweed rolling process in which the dried seaweed is brought into close contact with the dried seaweed. 2. Two conveyor belts are stretched parallel to each other so that they move at a constant speed and in the same direction while maintaining a predetermined instantaneous welding gap, and the dried seaweed that has been cut to a predetermined size is transferred between both belts through the adjacent gap. On the downstream side of the path of this conveyor belt, there is a confectionery receiving stand located on one side of the path of the conveyed dried seaweed, and a confectionery receiving table located directly below the adjacent gap between both belts. A pair of nori rolling clamps and transfer parts are installed with the pinching part facing the center of the conveyed dried seaweed that has reached above the pinching part, and the operator picks up the middle part of the dried seaweed on the receiving table. By pushing the arare confectionery into the gap adjacent to the belt with one edge of the arare confectionery, the dried seaweed is bent into a U-shape and then inserted between the sandwiching and transferring members together with the arare confectionery. At the same time, on the upstream side of the conveyor belt, a humidifying section such as a steam injection nozzle or the like is installed to pre-humidify the dried seaweed that is being conveyed along the folded line of the middle part of the dried seaweed that is bent by the confectionery.
