Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 乳房に対して超音波ビームを送受波する探触子と、乳房
    と探触子との間に配置され探触子からの超音波ビームを
    乳房に伝達する乳房用アプリケータと、を含む超音波診
    断装置において、前記乳房用アプリケータは、乳房に適
    合するようにほぼ凹球面状に形成された乳房挿着面と、
    探触子が当接しほぼ円すい形状あるいは凸球面状に形成
    された探触子当接面と、を有する固体材質で形成され、
    前記探触子は、複数の配列された振動素子を有し、前記
    乳房用アプリケータの探触子当接面上を摺動回転し、該
    探触子の摺動回転の際、探触子の振動素子は順次励振さ
    れ、探触子から乳房に対して、超音波ビームは放射状に
    送受波されることを特徴とする超音波診断装置。
