There are known methods for simultaneously applying multilayer extrusion coating onto a conductor core wire using two or more cross-talk devices and one Pmonch PS head. However, all of these methods have drawbacks in that it takes a great deal of time to adjust the unevenness in thickness, and the equipment is quite expensive.

By doing so, a thin and uniform coating is applied to the core wire to be inserted. By using this embossed nipple, it is possible to provide a thin and uniform coating due to the so-called swell phenomenon, and the time for adjusting uneven thickness can be significantly shortened.

Reference numeral 2 indicates the above-mentioned pattern V=puple, and reference numeral 3 indicates a normal extrusion device. An extrudable thermoplastic resin 5 such as polyethylene or polyvinyl chloride is continuously supplied in a molten state through a tube 6 to the rear part of the embossed nipple 2 by a simple extruder 4 . In order to maintain the supplied resin in a constant molten state, a heater 7 is appropriately disposed on the peripheral wall of the fringe nipple. For example, when the molten resin is low density polyethylene, it is about 110°C, and when it is high density polyethylene, it is about 13°C.
It is necessary to heat it to around 0°C.

Note that the normal extrusion device 3 is composed of a well-known crosstalk device and a crosshead, and only the crosshead is shown in the figure. The simple extruder 4 is composed of a kneading device. Further, it is preferable that the nibble 2 has a large internal volume, for example, one that is long in the axial direction, in order to maintain resin quality.

The time for adjusting thickness unevenness can be significantly shortened, and a uniform coating layer can be easily obtained. Furthermore, since the embossed nipple is constructed only to maintain the resin in a suitably molten state, multilayer extrusion coating can be performed using inexpensive equipment.
