Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は吸収性物品に関し、更に詳細には使い棄ておむ
つに関する。
最近、種々の使い棄ておむつが提案されている。
その多くは日常の使用に供されているが、幾つかの問題
があり完全に満足すべきものではない。即ち、（１）幼
児のまた部の形状が不規則であるためおむつがぴつたり
合い難い。（２）おむつのまた部からの洩れを防ぐ適当
な流体障壁を備え難い。（３）吸収性が最も必要である
おむつのまた部に、嵩をあまり増大させず幼児に不快感
を与えないで充分な量の吸収材料を備えることが困難で
ある。本発明の目的は、上述の問題を解消した使い棄て
おむつを提供することにある。この目的を達成するため
、本発明の使い棄ておむつは次のような構成を採る。
すなわち、流体滲透性の表側の面と、流体不滲透性シー
トで形成された裏側の面と、１対の側縁とを有する吸収
パット組立体の前記両側縁に沿つて縦方向に延在する部
分を、互いに反対側に位置する前記側縁方向にそれぞれ
折り曲げ、前記表側の面上には一層の表側パネルを、前
記裏側の面上には二層の裏側パネルをそれぞれ一対づつ
形成し、おむつのまた部付近で前記表側パネルを前記表
側の面に、前記裏側パネルを前記裏側の面にそれぞれ固
着したことを特徴とする使い棄ておむつである。以下図
面を参照しつゝ本発明の実施例を説明する。
さて第１図及び第４図を見ると、吸収パッド組立体２２
を有する使い棄ておむつ２０が図示されている。
吸収パッド組立体２２は１体の側縁２４ａ、２４ｂと該
側縁を結ぶ１対の端縁２６ａ、２６ｂがある。第４図に
示す通り、パッド組立体２２はその表の面３０の大部分
を形成する流体滲透性の表シート２８、裏の面３４を形
成する流体不滲透性の裏シート３２、及び表シート２８
と裏シート３２との間に挿入された吸収パッド３６を有
する。裏シート３２の幅は吸収パッド３６の幅より大き
く、裏シートの両側端部３８ａ及び３８ｂは表の面３０
の上に折返され吸収パッド３６の上に固着されている。
同様に第１図に示す通り、裏シート３２の長さは吸収パ
ッドの長さより長く、その両端部４０ａ及び４０ｂを吸
収パツド３６の表の面の上に折返しパツド組立体２２の
長手方向の両端に流体障壁を形成してもよい。本発明の
おむつは、次のような方法に従つて第４図のパツド組立
体から形成することが出来る。
パツド組立体を先づ、第５図に示すように１対の縦の折
曲げ線４２ａ及び４２ｂに沿つてその表の面３０の上に
側縁２４ａ，２４ｂと上記折曲げ線との間の側部パネル
４４ａ，４４ｂを折り重ねる。側部パネル４４ａ及び４
４ｂはおむつのまた部でパツド組立体２２の表の面３０
に、適当な手段４６ａ，４６ｂ例えは接着剤で側縁２４
ａ，２４ｂ附近を固着する。固着手段４６ａ，４６ｂは
おむつの前側の端縁２６ａの方に長手方向の中央から２
５〜５０ｍ７７！（１〜２インチ）片寄つた所にあるの
が好ましい。次に、第５図の折りた＼んだパツド組立体
を、第３図に示すように、上記側縁２４ａ，２４ｂと折
曲げ線４２ａ，４２ｂとの中間の第２の１対の縦の折曲
げ線４８ａ，４８ｂに沿つてその裏面 ン３４の上に更
に折り重ねる。
この第２の折り重ねた側縁部分５０ａ，５０ｂは適当な
手段５２ａ，５２ｂ例えば接着剤でおむつのまた部のパ
ツド組立体裏面に固着する。この様に構成したおむつ２
０は第１図乃至第３〉図に示す。
第１図及び第３図に最もよく示されているようＯこ、お
むつは縦の中央パネル５６とその上に重ねられた１対の
縦の表側パネル５４ａ，５４ｂとを有する。表側パネル
５４ａ，５４ｂは裏シート３２で覆われているため外側
表面は流体５不滲透性であり、内側表面も側縁２４ａ，
２４ｂに隣接する部分は裏シ一 卜の側端が該側縁で折
り返されているため流体不滲透性である。第２図及び第
３図に最もよく示すように、おむつ２０は又、中央パネ
ル５６の下に１対の縦の２重の裏側パネ３ル５８ａ，５
８ｂを有する。おむつ２０は幼児に取りつける為の１対
のテープ６０ａ，６０ｂを端縁２６ｂの近くで両側縁２
４ａ，２４ｂの近くに設けてもよい。おむつを当てがう
とき、おむつの端縁２６ａ，４２６ｂ附近の腰パツド部
分の折り重ねを展開するが（第６図）、固着手段４６ａ
，４６ｂ及び５２ａ，５２ｂにより表側パネル５４ａ，
５４ｂ及び裏側パネル５８ａ，５８ｂはまた部で中央パ
ネル５６に保持されている。
従つて、その時、表側パネルは幼児腿の形に合つた湾曲
形状となり、おむつはまた部にぴつたり合う。裏シート
３２により表側パネル５４ａ，５４ｂの外面は流体不滲
透性となり、その側縁２４ａ，２４ｂに隣接する流体障
壁を作り、おむつのまた部からの洩れを防止する。中央
パネル５６の下の二重の裏側パネル５８ａ，５８ｂは中
央パネル５６から流出する流体を保持するポケツトとし
て役立ち、その際流体不滲透性の表側パネルは流体を該
ポケツトに導く。更に、おむつのまた部の吸収パツドの
量を増し流体保持能力を増すことが出来るが、表側パネ
ル及び裏側パネルは固着手段によつて所定位置に保持す
るからおむつのまた部の嵩は大きくならない。また部で
吸収パツドは４層となつているから、幼児の皮膚におむ
つがきつく当りガスケツト作用が良好に行われ幼児の脚
のまわりから流体が洩れるのが防止される。本発明のお
むつは、又、次のような方法に従つて形成することがで
きる。
即ち、先づ第３図に示すように、第４図のパツド組立体
を１体の縦の折曲げ線６２ａ，６２ｂに沿つて裏面３４
に折り返し中央パネル５６と１対の側縁パネルを形成す
る。次に該側部パネルを上記折り曲げ線６２ａ，６２ｂ
と側縁２４ａ，２４ｂとの中間の縦の折曲げ線４２ａ，
４２ｂに沿つて更に外側に折り返し、折曲げ線４２ａ，
４２ｂから上記折曲げ線６２ａ，６２ｂの外側で折曲げ
線４８ａ，４８ｂに沿つて中央パネル５６の表側の面３
０へ折重ねた１対の側部パネルを形成する。前述の通り
また部で上記側部パネルの表側パネル部分５４ａ，５４
ｂは中央パネル５６の表側の面に固着し、裏側パネル部
分５８ａ，５８ｂは中央パネルの裏側の面に固着する。
パツド組立体２２の別の実施例を第７図及び第８図に示
す。
第７図のパツド組立体の吸収パツド３６はおむつの縦の
中心線の両側に多数の縦に延びる凹み７０ａ，７０ｂ及
び７０ｃを有し、該凹み部でパツドの厚さを減じている
。凹み７０ａ，７０ｂ及び７０ｃはそれぞれおむつの片
側の折曲げ線４８ａ，４２ａ及び６２ａに一致し又反対
側の折曲び線４８ｂ，４２ｂ及び６２ｂに一致し、折り
曲げ線の部分で厚さを減することによつてパツド組立体
を折り曲げ線に沿つて折曲げるのを容易にしている。同
様に、第８図の吸収パツド３６はおむつの両側に間隙３
９ａ，３９ｂ及び３９ｃを置いて分離した縦長の多数の
パツド片３７ａ，３７ｂ，３７ｃ及び３７ｄを有し、お
むつの折曲げを容易にしている。好ましい１実施例では
、第９図に示すように、固着手段４６ａ，４６ｂを表側
パネル５４ａ，５４ｂの側縁２４ａ，２４ｂから間隔を
置き、裏シートの側端部３８ａ，３８ｂを側縁２４ａ，
２４ｂから間隔を置いた個所で中央パネルの表側の面に
保持している。
おむつを当てた後、側縁２４ａ，２４ｂ附近の表側パネ
ルに張力が加わるが固着手段が該側縁から間隔を置いて
いるため側縁に隣接する表側パネルの縁部分６７が中央
パネルの表側の面から持上げられる。従つて、該縁部分
６７は使用中幼児のまたのつけ根に位置し、該縁部分が
幼児の皮膚に密着して流体不滲透封止を形成し洩れを防
ぐ。以上説明した通り、本発明のおむつは、おむつの嵩
をあまり増さずにまた部がぴつたり合うようにするとと
もに、流体の洩れを防ぎ、また部の流体保持性を増大す
るものである。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １ 流体滲透性の表側の面と、流体不滲透性シートで形
    成された裏側の面と、１対の側縁とを有する吸収パッド
    組立体の前記両側縁に沿つて縦方向に延在する部分を、
    互いに反対側に位置する前記側縁方向にそれぞれ折り曲
    げ、前記表側の面上には一層の表側パネルを、前記裏側
    の面上には二層の裏側パネルをそれぞれ一対づつ形成し
    、おむつのまた部付近で前記表側パネルを前記表側の面
    に、前記裏側パネルを前記裏側の面にそれぞれ固着した
    ことを特徴とする使い棄ておむつ。
