モンモリロナイトはシリカ、アルミナ等を主成分とする
鉱物群であるが、その純度高いものは水に溶解して高い
増粘効果を示し、製品の使用上利点の多いものである。

本発明者はこの物質がポリビニールアルコールの水溶液
に対し前記のホウ砂目様ゲル化物を形成することを知っ
た。

本発明は上記の性能を利用したパック剤に係るもので、
ポリビニールアルコールの水溶液中にホウ酸を加えたゾ
ルを第１剤とし、モンモリロナイトの弱アルカリ性水分
散体を第２剤とし、この両者の組合せから成るものであ
る。

まず第１剤を皮膚面に塗布し、さらにその表面に第２剤
を塗布すれば、第１剤のゾルはただちにゲル状の皮膜を
形成し、パック剤としての効果を発揮するに至る。

で、したがって形成される皮膜は強靭で、パック剤とし
ての目的に好適なものである。

尚本発明における第１剤ならびに第２剤には必要に応じ
て公知の香粧品原料たとえば香料、防腐剤、湿潤剤、乳
化剤などを適宜配合することができる。

- １ ポリビニールアルコールの水溶液中にホウ酸を加え
たゾルを第１剤とし、モンモリロナイトの弱アルカリ性
水分散体を第２剤とし、この両者の組合せから成るパッ
ク剤。
