Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、部分的または全部が熱可溶性である織物また
は薄片物品に対して行なわれる切断、溶接およびその他
の作業に超音波効果を適用する装置に関するものである
勿論かような装置を具備する機械また設備は、本発明の
範囲内に入るものである。本発明は、織物原料の分離ま
たは接続、検査、マーク付け、機械的加工を行なうため
に、可聴周波数または超音波周波数の機械的振動を発生
し且つ/または伝達するための一般的利用方法および装
置における機械的振動の発生および伝達の技術分野に関
するものである。
本発明は、部分的または全部が熱可溶性である織物また
は薄片物品が必要とする或る種の加工または作業の遂行
条件を実質的に改良しようとするものである。
これは、織物または他の物品の帯の幅および縁を切取る
作業において特に望まれるものである。実際において、
同期的に、または別々に行なわれる溶接および切断の作
業は、各種の手段により、特に冷間切断または熱間切断
により、種々の方法により遂行されている。
その結果、織物または薄片物品の切取りの後に、溶接に
よる盛り上がりの如き欠点がしばしば現われ、これによ
り、該物品を巻いて検査する時に、その体裁が著しく損
なわれるような欠陥が生ずるのである。さらに、熱間切
断の場合には、工具の必要な絶縁に拘らず、或る織物は
炭化されるのである。
これらの欠陥は、本発明による装置により除去される。
本発明による装置は、部分的または全部が熱可溶性であ
る織物または薄片物品に対して行なわれる切断、溶接お
よびその他の作業に、それ自体公知である超音波効果を
適用するものである。本発明による装置は、低周波電流
の発電機および工具を形成する音極を直接または間接に
担持する電気音警変換器により構成された超音波発生器
を具備し、該音極に対向して、特にその延長方向におけ
る非振動支持体上に定着された対向工具または金敷が設
けられ、該非振動支持体の上方部分に該電気音警変換器
が一体的に取付けられ、織物または薄片物品が該音極と
該金敷との間に係合され、これに対し該音極および該金
敷が直接または相対的の動性により超音波効果を適用す
ることを特徴とするものである。本発明の他の特徴に従
つて、非振動支持体はその下方部分において、金敷を固
定的にまたは弾性的に担持し、該非振動支持体の上方部
分に電気音警変換器が一体的に取付けられ、該支持体は
、その組立状態に応じて、織物または薄片物品が縦方向
、横方向または他方向に加工される前に、該織物または
薄片物品を横切つて、または横切らずに取付けられる。
次に添付図面を参照して、本発明の装置を詳細に説明す
る。
装置全体をよく理解するために、超音波発生器は、高周
波振動を得るために、幹線の電圧から取り出した電気エ
ネルギーを機械的エネルギーに変換することを目的とし
ているものであることを思い出して欲しい。
超音波発生器は、周知の如く、一般に次の要素により構
成されている:ハ電気音響変換器の機械的共鳴の周波数
に対するオートパイロツト装置を備えた、出力調整可能
な低周波電流の発電機。
この発電機は、第1図示の切取り機械において符号Gに
より示されている。2)符号Cで図示されている電気音
響変換器にして、変換器4を備えており、該変換器は、
2つの鋼板間に置かれた水晶薄板(圧電気現象)を介し
て、電気振動を機械的振動に変換する。
この機械的振動は数ミクロンの振幅に過ぎず、工具によ
り直接利用されるには弱過ぎるので増幅器に送られ、増
幅された振動が工具(この場合は音極1である)に伝達
される。本発明により、音極1に対向して、特に該音極
の延長方向において、金敷2が、振動のない平衡位置を
達成するために、非振動支持体3上に定着されている。
この支持体3の上方部分3゛に電気音響変換器4が一体
的に取付けられている。非振動支持体3の上方部分3”
には収容空所が設けられており、該空所内に変換器4が
その周辺に有する円形溝と協働するねじ5により、一体
的に取付けられている(第2図参照)。
支持体3の下方部分3”の前方部に円形または他形状の
空所3゛力s設けられており、該空所内に該空所の形状
に相補する形状を有する金敷2が固定的に、または弾性
的に取付けられている。
これら2つの部分3”および3″!ま、後方部において
垂直柱3゛により、直接にまたははめ込みにより固定目
れている。第3および5図に示す如く、金敷2は、空所
3゜の底部内に、適当に検定されたばね6または他の弾
性手段により弾性的に支承されている。
ばね6または他の弾性手段は、支持体3の空所3’丙に
直接に挿入されて、金敷2の下面がばね6に衝接するよ
うにすることができる(第3図参照)。第5図示の実施
例では、ばねTは、金敷8の体部内に形成された凹孔8
”内に収容されている。この場合、良好な支承を確保す
るために、球9がばねTと凹孔81の底部との間に置か
れている。金敷2または8の高さを調整するために、ば
ね6またはTの圧力調整が任意周知手段で、例えばねじ
10により行なわれる。第3図示の実施例では、金敷2
は、音極1に対する圧力を確保するために、弾性的に押
しつけられている。また第5図示の如く、金敷8は、そ
の高さの方向において、空所33(7)上部に形成され
ている肩部に衝接することができ、これにより、該金敷
8と音極との間に僅少間隙eが現われる。後述により明
らかになるけれども、常時一定の間隙または圧力を保持
するために、金敷の弾性に対して考慮が払われる。部分
的または全部が熱可溶性である織物または薄片物品Tは
、20000〜30000Hz程度の超音波周波数を有
する振動工具(音極1)と該音極,に対し固定している
ものと考えられる金敷2または8との間に置かれる。音
極1の振動変位は、特に溶接すべき表面に対し垂直であ
る。
音極1から生ずる振動エネルギーは、接触により物品T
に適用される。物品が織物である場合には、織物の繊維
は、それ自体の間に高周波の相対運動を受け、これによ
り織物の極めて局部的な加熱が、その厚さ内において、
外部へ分散することなく、発生する。これらの効果から
、音極1のエネルギーのレベルを制御することにより、
各種の作業、特に溶接、切取り、マーク付け、装飾的効
果等を実現することが可能である。
制御された溶融により、原料に対して溶接が得られるよ
うに、その接続性が保持される。
切取りに対しては、溶融は、繊維の破壊を生ずるために
、さらに局限される。この場合、金敷は、第6,?,8
,9,10,11,12,13図に示されているように
、鋭い稜を直接に、または附加的に持つている。従つて
、この方法により同時に切断が行なわれ、且つ同時に糸
解きを妨げる縁の溶融が行なわれる。
第14図示の如く、音極1と金敷2との結合された働き
により、縁の溶融が行なわれ、従つて縁の圧延または薄
縁が得られ、これにより公知方法により惹起される縁の
盛り上がりの欠陥が除去される。有利な実施態様におい
て、金敷11の鋭い稜11”は横に2つの傾斜面11゛
を備えている。
この傾斜面の傾斜角αは、場合により変化し(第6−T
および10−11図)、切断、織物Tの圧延、厚さおよ
び織物または他の物品の組成等に関して求められる結果
を考慮して、必須ではないが、一般に、できるだけ鈍角
である。第8および12図に示された他の実施例におい
ては、金敷12は、その上部分に1つの球帽12”を形
成することができ、該球帽は常時1つの稜12”を具備
し、または第9および13図示の実施例では、金敷13
は1つの平らな押しつぶし区域と1つの稜区域とを無造
作に備えている。
この最後の実施例においては、金敷13の平らな押しつ
ぶし区域13”により、物品Tの縁を薄くすることによ
りその圧延が行なわれ、稜区域13’により切断が行な
われる。さらに、金敷はその形状と特徴が如何なるもの
であつても、容易に交換され、円形または多角形の断面
を有し、大出力の場合には特に平らである。
また、第20図示の如く、非振動支持体3の下方部分3
”の前方部に回転する円形対向工具14が具備されてお
り、該工具の周囲に1つの平滑な稜14”が設けられて
いる。この対向工具14は、物品Tを進行させたり、ま
たは機械により、或いは電動機の如き任意公知手段によ
り、独立して積極的に駆動されることなく、自由に回転
することができる。かくて、該対向工具14の摩耗の良
好な分布が行なわれる。本発明により、織物または薄片
物品Tは、該物品を音極1と金敷2との間を第1図示の
如く進行させることにより(縦方向切断)、または音極
1と金敷2とを、第18図示の如く作業中不動または停
止状態にある該物品Tに対して、移動させることにより
(横方向切断)、また第14図示の如く薄くされまたは
圧延され且つ切断され、または他の加工が施され、さら
に第15図示の如く非振動支持体3の集団を機械の各所
に配置して連続的加工が施される。
第1,3および4図には、非振動支持体3が、矢印Fが
示す物品Tの進行方向内に組立てられて、該支持体3の
垂直部分ずが切断線内に置かれている状態が示されてい
る。
この場合、切断された縁の通過を容易にするために、該
垂直部分3”の基部が薄い断面35を持つように考慮さ
れている。第18図示の如く、横方向切断の場合には、
非振動支持体3の集団は、並進運動を行なう機械の1部
分、例えばチエーンにより駆動されて、2つの平行直線
滑動路gおよびg”間を移動する送り台V上に定着され
る。この場合、支持体3の集団は、その垂直部分3゛力
5切断線の内部にあるように、物品Tの進行方向に対し
て横向きに置かれる。作業開始で、超音波発生器の圧力
下に置かれると、あらかじめ調整された圧力が、既述に
より明らかの如く僅少間隙の存在する音極1と金敷2と
の間にある物品の両側から働く。この圧力またはこの間
隙は、その働きによる加熱の結果減少する傾向がある。
しかし、この減少は、作業開始時に、特にねじ10(第
3および5図)により、最初の圧力または間隙が不変に
保持されるように調整することにより、金敷2の弾性に
より補償されることに留意すべきである。特にまた、第
19図に示す如く、対向工具または金敷2が何等弾性を
持たずに支持体15内に定着されている時には、電気音
響変換器4と一体である上方部分15”を任意公知手段
で弾性化することができる。
第19図示の装置により、前述の如く圧力を殆んど一定
値に保持するために、音極に対し圧力が同様に与えられ
る。この実施例では、後方の垂直柱の基部15”は1つ
のヨークを形成し、その内部に、上方部分,52に直接
にまたは附加的に一体化された第2ヨーク15ゝs自由
関着状態で取付けられている。
この装置により、特に圧力ねじ16とばねITの働きで
、音極1の周波数の調整のために、上方部分15”の後
方への回転が行なわれる。この明細書においては、超音
波発生器の集団の各部分について詳細な説明は行なわれ
ない。
それは、これら自体が公知であり、説明の複雑化を避け
るためである。音極1の輪郭および寸法は、使用周波数
および使用者の所望に基き、製造業者により決められる
。本発明により、部分的または全部が熱可溶性である織
物または薄片物品に対して行なわれる切断、溶接および
その他の作業に超音波効果を適用するこの装置が、織機
、切断機等の多くの機械にも利用され得ることは明らか
である。
本発明は、特に次ぎに列挙するような利益を持つている
ハ熱は、織物の内部に生ずるだけであるから火災の危険
はない。
また、繊維は溶けているので炭化の危険もない。加熱さ
れた部分の温度が無限に上昇するものでないので炭化は
惹起されない。2)縁を薄くする時に少しの盛り上りも
生じないので、切断は極めてきれいで、何等糸解きの危
険はない。
3)超音波発生器の集団に関する電子的信頼性により確
実な使用が達成される。
4)本発明の装置は、主として垂直幾何学を持つている
ので、機械と織物の横平面内における混雑は少ない。
5)周波数を増加することにより、工具である音極の寸
法が減ぜられるこ6)冷たい工具で加工するので、何等
絶縁の必要がない。
7)所要加工に対し超音波を使用するので、作業開始の
遅れがなく、効果は直ちに現われる。
本発明は、前記された実施例に限定されるものでなく、
その発明要旨を逸脱することなく多くの変形を包含する
ものである。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 1 一部あるいは全体が熱可溶性の、織られたまたは不
    織の薄片あるいは繊維物質を切断し、溶接する、超音波
    効果を利用する装置であつて、前記装置は、工具を構成
    する音極を備えた電気音響変換器、この音極に対向して
    置かれた対向工具あるいは金敷を含む超音波切断溶接装
    置であつて、所定区域を一体的に移動する対向工具ある
    いは金敷は取外し可能に、音極の軸線において非振動支
    持体ベースに形成された対応する延長部に固定され、前
    記支持体上部には前記電気音響変換器が固定されると共
    に、前記金敷上面は、織物あるいは薄片物質面と水平に
    直接接触し、鋭いヘリが一度に前記物質を切断し、物質
    の切断縁部を溶接することを特徴とする超音波切断溶接
    装置。
