A smooth feed roller is provided on one side of the cutting roller and rotates in opposite directions with a predetermined gap therebetween, and a lower portion between the smooth feed roller and the above-mentioned cutting roller is provided so as not to contact the smooth feed roller. A smooth roller is provided that rotates in contact only with the cutting roller, and a plurality of removal pieces made of flexible members are rotated in the longitudinal direction of the cutting roller of each set of roller units. Therefore, each of the removal pieces acts sufficiently on the surface of the cutting roller while slidingly contacting the surface along with the rotation of the cutting roller having spiral protrusions and stripes as it rotates. It is possible to reliably prevent stems, leaves, dirt, etc. from adhering to the cutting roller.
It prevents the cutting ability of stems and leaves from being reduced due to stems and leaves adhering to the cutting roller, and it is possible to always and reliably remove stems and leaves without damaging harvested products such as onions.
This can be transferred smoothly using the old smooth rollers.
Since it only contacts the cutting roller and does not contact the smooth feed roller that is separated from the cutting roller, there is less risk of soil adhering to the smooth feed roller or stems and leaves wrapping around it, and the smooth roller rotates in the opposite direction to the cutting roller. Also, soil and foliage adhering to the cutting roller can be reliably removed, and the cutting roller can always reliably transport the harvest and separate and remove the foliage.
