DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a new processing method that imparts water repellency to only one side of a silk fabric. Specifically, the present invention relates to a new processing method that imparts water repellency to only one side of a silk fabric. This relates to a processing method in which only a water-breaking agent is selectively applied to the pore surface by adding and coating it on one side, and then removing all the emulsion components in a drying and washing step.

Conventionally, methods for imparting water repellency (=J) to fabrics can be broadly classified into two types: dipping treatment and coating treatment, but in recent years, with the pursuit of advanced functionality and high added value in textile products, breathable repellency has become more important. The demand for water finishing, or one-sided water-repellent and one-sided water-absorbing finishing, etc. is increasing, and the specific importance of coating processing is increasing. However, stone-taing processing originally covers the surface of the fabric with a different material; It significantly changes the unique characteristics of the fabric, such as its texture and color axis.

The present inventors have developed a single-sided water-repellent finishing method that combines the advantages of both the dipping treatment, which takes advantage of the inherent characteristics of the fabric, and the coating treatment, which imparts a specific function to only one side. After much research, we arrived at the present invention.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for applying a durable water-repellent finish to the treated side without damaging the texture and color axis, while leaving the non-treated side to retain its original fiber properties. There is a particular thing.

That is, in the present invention, organic solvents, emulsifiers, and water are added to one side of the knitted fabric.
In this method, a mixture of an emulsion consisting of a thickener and a water repellent agent is applied, dried and washed, thereby selectively applying a 1M water treatment to one side of the fabric.

In the present invention, knitted fabrics are made of natural fibers such as cotton, wool, and silk, synthetic fibers such as polyester, nylon, and acrylic, and semi-synthetic fibers such as acetate and rayon. It may be a blended fabric, a mixed fabric, or a silk fabric. Examples of the organic solvent in the present invention include chlorinated hydrocarbon solvents such as dichloroethane, rumored to be trichloroethane, and perchlorethylene, fluorinated hydrocarbon solvents such as trichlorotrifluoroethane, and petroleum solvents such as mineral turpentine oil. The water repellent used in the present invention includes fecal fibers, paraffin threads, zircon, alkylamide, and silicone-based water repellents, and fluorine-based and paraffin-based water repellents give particularly good results.

5 to 50 parts of a water repellent are uniformly mixed into the emulsion thus obtained, and the knitted fabric is subjected to footing or printing, and then dried. After curing if necessary, the emulsifier/thickener is removed by hot water washing, preferably soaping with an anionic activator, to obtain a treated fabric. The water repellency of the knitted fabric obtained by this treatment was maintained even after washing five times.

The feature of the present invention is that one side of the knitted fabric is given high water repellency with wash resistance while maintaining breathability and moisture permeability without impairing the water absorbency of the fibers themselves on the other side. be. The important point is that the emulsion used in the present invention is mainly composed of a low boiling point volatile organic solvent and does not contain a resin component as a coating master, so it has an extremely good drying rate and dries quickly. This prevents the treatment agent from penetrating the back surface and selectively applies the mixed water repellent component to the surface. For this reason, compared to general immersion treatment,
It exhibits a high degree of water repellency considering the amount of use, and the treated surface itself maintains its water repellency even if the other surface is completely wet.
