It has been shown that 0°C and -10°C to +10°C can be polymerized in two stages and used for cement mixing. For example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 47-88054 discloses that an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion using polyoxyethylene nonylphenyl ether as an emulsifier is mixed into a cement composition. In addition, in Japanese Patent Publication No. 55-19913, C is polyvinyl/L'
7 II/: Incorporating a saturated monocarboxylic acid vinyl ester copolymer compound represented by ethylene-vinyl acetate as a protective colloid into a cement composition, and C in Japanese Patent Publication No. 52-25406. Japanese Patent Publication No. 54-27 (1983), by incorporating an ethylene-vinyl acetate-branched fatty acid vinyl ester copolymer emulsion using polyvinyl alcohol and polyoxyethylene octylphenyl ether as an emulsifier into a cement composition.
No. 870 discloses that an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion containing 5 to 2.5 hydroxyethyl cellulose as a protective colloid with an addition molar ratio of ethylene oxide and polyoxyethylene nonylphenyl ether as an emulsifier is used as a cement. In Japanese Patent Publication No. 55-19913 and Japanese Unexamined Patent Application Publication No. 56-11987, an ethylene-vinyl acetate-vinyl chloride copolymer emulsion using polyvinyl alcohol or polyvinyl alcohol and a nonionic emulsifier is mixed into a cement composition. 55-x99t4 discloses ethylene-saturated monocarboxylic acid vinyl ester using polyvinyl alcohol or polyvinyl alcohol and a nonionic emulsifier, such as polyoxyethylene nonylphenyl ether. The same thing is disclosed in JP-A-55-85444, in which a methyl methacrylate copolymer emulsion is mixed into a cement composition.

In view of the above-mentioned circumstances, the present inventors have conducted various studies aimed at improving the above-mentioned drawbacks of cement compositions. Water resistance (water absorption, water permeability), cracking resistance, and adhesion can be improved by mixing an emulsion made by mixing a vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion in a specific ratio into a cement composition. Heading This invention has led to this invention.

That is, according to the present invention, when used as a groundwork preparation cement mortar for buildings, a cement mortar for repairs, a cement mortar for tiling, or a repair mortar for civil engineering, it not only enhances the adhesion to the base, but also improves the adhesive strength of conventional cement. The water absorption and waterproof properties, which were disadvantages of compositions, have been greatly improved, and a cement composition that does not cause cracks can be obtained. Also, the coating properties of old paints are good and there is no peeling or falling off. A cement composition for treatment is obtained.

These polyvinyl alcohols are added to 100 parts by weight of the resin solid content of the styrene-acrylic acid ester copolymer emulsion and the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion.
It is preferable to use 1 to 15 parts by weight. More preferably, it is 1.5 to 10 parts by weight. If this amount is less than 1,000, it is difficult to obtain a stable emulsion, and if the nail exceeds 15 ffi, the water resistance will be poor.

。What is important in the present invention is that in the case of a styrene-acrylic acid ester copolymer emulsion, a small amount of an anionic surfactant or nonionic surfactant, which is usually used in emulsion polymerization, may be used in the polyvinyl alcohol base. but,
For ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer emulsions, nonionic emulsifiers used in general emulsion polymerization such as polyoxyethylene nonylphenyl ether, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, or block copolymers of polyoxyethylene and polyoxypropylene are used. Even if it is an emulsifier with a low HL B, such as a general emulsifier such as Bell HLB, it cannot be used because it will not have the effect of the present invention. In the present invention, the ester is a higher fatty acid ester of a polyhydric alcohol and has an HLB of 10 or less.

A method of emulsion polymerization of ethylene, vinyl acetate, and other monomers as necessary in an aqueous medium by a conventional method in the presence of a higher fatty acid ester of a polyhydric alcohol of 0 or less, and a method in which the above monomers are polymerized in the presence of polyvinyl alcohol. Preferably, a method is employed in which a higher fatty acid ester of a polyhydric alcohol having an HLB of 10 or less is mixed into an emulsion obtained by emulsion polymerizing the body in an aqueous medium by a conventional method.
