  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 大地に対して絶縁された複数の支持部材によって支持さ
    れた鉄鋼部材に一対の電極を接続して閉回路を形成し、
    該閉回路内に設けられた電源によって前記鉄鋼部材に所
    定の電流を通電することにより磁粉探傷を行うようにし
    た磁粉探傷装置において、 前記鉄鋼部材と大地との間に、第二の電源と所定のスイ
    ッチ手段と通電検出手段とを直列に接続し、前記スイッ
    チ手段が閉成されたときに前記通電検出手段によって検
    出される電流に基づいて、前記鉄鋼部材と大地との間の
    絶縁の良否を検出するようにしたことを特徴とする磁粉
    探傷装置用絶縁不良検出器。
