    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 排気マニホルドとの接続部から排気吐出口までの排気管
    系の長さをＬとした自動車用エンジンの排気騒音低減装
    置において、上記排気管系の排気吐出口から（２１５）
    Ｌの距離の位置に拡張型消音要素を配設し、（１１５）
    Ｌの距離の位置に第１の共鳴型消音要素の頚管を接続し
    、（１／１０）Ｌまたは（３／１０）Ｌの距離の位置に
    第２の共鳴型消音要素の頚管を接続するとともに、これ
    らの共鳴型消音要素において共鳴室の容積をＶｐｓ頸管
    頚管面積を８２、その長さを１．とすると、上記第１の
    共鳴型消音要素が（Ｓ、／（Ｖ、・１．）−１（５π／
    ２Ｌ）”　、ｌを、第２の共鳴型消音要素示（Ｓ、／（
    Ｖ、・１．）−（５τ／Ｌ）”　）を、それぞれ満足す
    ることを特徴とする自動車用エンジンの排気騒音低減装
    置。
