Claims (2)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. （１）ステアリングハンドルの回転操作によって転舵を
    行うマニアル系統と、該マニアル系統の転舵トルクを検
    出するトルクセンサと、該トルクセンサの出力に応じて
    回転駆動し上記マニアル系統の転舵力を補助する電動モ
    ータを備えたラックピニオン式電動パワーステアリング
    装置において、ラック軸に該ラック軸の移動方向に沿い
    ステアリングハンドルを中立位置から最大転舵位置まで
    転舵したときの該ラック軸の移動距離よりやき小なる長
    さを有する転舵センサ駆動部を設けると共に、ステアリ
    ングハンドルを中立位置にしたときの上記転舵センサ駆
    動部の両端部に対向するよう２個の転舵センサをステア
    リングギヤボックスに設け、上記２個の転舵センサ及び
    トルクセンサの各出力の組合せにより転舵途中で転舵ト
    ルクがゼロのとき戻り方向に電動モータによる補助転舵
    力が働き、直進走行時及び最大転舵時に電動モータによ
    る補助転舵力を解除或は減少させるよう構成したことを
    特徴とするラックピニオン式電動パワーステアリング装
    置。
  2. （２）　　転舵センサはマイクロスイッチであり、転舵
    センサ駆動部は凹溝または突条であることを特徴とする
    実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項記載のラックピニオン式
    電動パワーステアリング装置。
