The polished wood with the twill pattern used for floor pillars, floor gussets, and decks is originally a natural product, so it is not easy to obtain the desired shape and texture. There is no choice but to select items, which is why they are highly valued and rare.
Conventionally, the only artificial imitation method used in forestry is to tie branches to standing trees and suppress the enlargement of the area to create an uneven surface, but the product is a precious wood without any unpleasant taste. Rating is low. In particular, logs obtained by growing trees in a short period of time to speed up production will inevitably have countless pith rays due to the cell structure, making them worthless as precious wood. As a countermeasure to this problem, in specific areas where trees grow slowly, we continue to give special care for precious trees, grow trees around 10 cm in diameter over a long period of time, and increase the annual ring density. By obtaining a high level of cracking, the occurrence of cracks due to the medullary line is reduced, and on top of that, the spinal cord is split, and furthermore, wedges are lined up and driven to widen the opening, and the overall effect of these is to reduce the occurrence of lacerations. The log is barely being held down, but while this spine cracking helps prevent cracking, it is also a major drawback of polished logs, as they are large cracks made up of awkward wedges, making it impossible to view them from all sides. cannot be used for As mentioned above, the reason for the occurrence of fissures that require extreme caution on the surface of the polished log, which is in its natural state without any strain on the structure, that is, on the surface of the autumn wood layer of annual rings, is due to the thick apical walls of the autumn wood cells. A large number of cells that are strong, have weak connections between cells, and are flexible against contraction, bending, and stretching form a rigid layer in parallel in the vertical direction. Due to the repeated effects of intense stress, the connections between cells gradually become looser, and eventually cracks develop.

Even in a natural state where the structure of the wood and its connections are perfectly normal, the phenomenon of cracking is unavoidable. Because there is no support, the change and damage are severe. The present invention explores the cell layer with uncertain connections between the annual rings of the crab stem,
The annual rings are torn off and made into a plate, which is then forcefully pressed onto the skin of the surface of a base material of any shape prepared separately, regardless of the structure or shape of the board, to create the desired shape. Since it is intended to reproduce the natural polished skin, it is fundamentally impossible,
The phenomenon of cracking should already occur during processing.

To smooth out the latent tears that have already occurred during the removal of annual rings and various taming characteristics, and to achieve the desired shape without any damage, the following three methods of sawmilling: grinding, splitting, and shaving are used. There are many problems that cannot be solved by the thin plywood style that we have previously obtained, which has far different texture properties.

In other words, conventional thin sheets for plywood all have wood grain, which is flexible for expansion and contraction created by the combination of the Akimura cell group for stiffness and the spring material thinner group for softness and roughness. In addition to the texture, in many cases there are countless pores created by the action of the cutting process during board making, and in addition, the board becomes straight due to the influence of the simmered wood. Therefore, cracks are less likely to occur during processing and in the finished product, and even if they do occur, they are not noticeable. However, sunasao also has its limitations, and it cannot be applied to uneven skin and remain intact. The surface of the tree-ring board used in the present invention has no wood grain and is entirely homogeneous, making it hard and resistant to abrasion from sand and gravel. There is no flexibility, and once a tear occurs, it gradually expands and is easily noticeable. Also, the board has unevenness, uneven twist thickness, and non-uniformity, all of which occur naturally as it grows, and in addition, cracks occur during board manufacturing. There are also potential causes of cracks.

The tensile strength in the direction directly along the long axis of the cell is very low, and it is directly affected by the diagonal line, so it may split spontaneously, especially if it is bent in the same direction. do. Note that the counter pressure in this direction reaches a reasonable value, but if even stronger pressure is applied, the sardine will shrink while remaining hidden. Changes due to drying and wetting are extremely sensitive to the direction perpendicular to the long axis of the cell, leading to expansion and contraction of the large and medium-sized cells. Also, the spring wood cell layer covering the entire back surface of this board is tensed and weakens and buckles under slight pressure. As mentioned above, the tree-ringed board, which has a number of peculiarities that can be seen as cancers in wood processing, is easily broken and difficult to handle, and the board is made to conform to the surface of the base material carved with an uneven pattern, so that cracks will not occur permanently. In order to attach such a plywood, the conventional thin plywood method, which is fundamentally different from the board quality, is not sufficient. The present invention achieves its purpose by utilizing the above-mentioned unique properties in a manner convenient for construction and results. The present invention is characterized by the fact that the annual ring plate is forcibly pressed along the skin of the base material and is brought into close contact with it. .

Next, taking into account the depth of the valley of the shibori pattern, we created a board with annual rings that was approximately 5 to 8 inches wider in the direction of the board than the outer part of Marusama A, and the length of Marusama A. Prepare the material and attach paper or cloth to the surface of the board using a water-soluble adhesive. In this way, the excess moisture is quickly absorbed by the autumn wood cannons on the surface of the annual ring board, softening and expanding, and due to this action, the board naturally bends into a trough shape with the autumn wood layer facing outward. The paper cloth opening also absorbs moisture and stretches out, causing wrinkles, so it does not blend well with the board surface when smoothed.
Next, as shown in Figure 4, a cylinder D that can be heated from the inside
Insert and hook the side of the paper cloth-covered annual ring board into the hook 〇 provided on the outside as shown in the figure, and gradually wrap it around the heating tube D using the cotton wrapping E, and the winding cord will be formed. The plate rolled up in the cover E is heated W from the inside of the curve, causing the moisture in the adhesive to boil, steaming the plate and making it flexible, and the plate can be transferred to the heating cylinder D without any difficulty.
When the paper cloth is wrapped tightly and eventually enters the drying stage, the paper cloth opening, which is stuck to the board surface A while being fully stretched, tries to contract, and its strong contraction force tightens and strengthens the board so that it does not break. Then, as it dries and hardens, it permanently deforms into a cylindrical shape in which the board and paper cloth are integrated into one. As shown in Figure 2, cover the surface of the round board A with adhesive applied all over, and fit the sides of the board C into the soldering metals C and C' to restrain the inside of the board and tension the board. A pasting machine is used to create a gap between the base and the signboard.
Even if it is stored in something like the one shown in Figure 5, 1 air bag and 1 air bag for vertical pressure.
′ is strongly injected into the board, forcing it to fit into the skin A′ of Maruaya A and adhering it.Then, the structure of the tensioner has more room for air bag 1 than the diameter of Maruaya A. , and the length is approximately equal to the total length of the round foundation A, and the box body is divided into two halves, the body 2 and the lid 3, which have inner holes 2' and 3' that are closed at both ends, and this is tightened into a vault. 4 can be opened and closed freely, and an air bag 1 is placed in the appropriate place on the lid 3.
A hole 5 for air injection is provided. The mode of the clamping action in the tensioner is that the annual ring plate reinforced with the paper fabric opening is the
, 〇, both sides of the board are restrained and tension is created due to the extra board, initially creating a gap 2 as shown in Fig. Pushed down by strong pressure, there was no place to rest, and finally the shibori pattern A on the surface of Marufuji
The cells are forced into the recess of A', the side surfaces of the cells are compressed together with the cells that come out, and they compete violently in the direction of the plate, and the cells are forced into the skin A' of the base material while retaining the ability to expand and recover. Being pushed.

This strong pressure also works strongly in the direction perpendicular to the bonding surface, making it soft and rough on the entire surface of the bonding surface of the annual ring plate.
The spring material layer, which has a weak structure, is compressed and adhered to the shape of the skin of the base material according to A', and the annual ring board A is made of a strong shrinkage force due to the drying of the paper fabric opening itself of the top reinforcing material. Therefore, the inside of the board is tightened and splitting is prevented, so the various external forces that the board receives during the gluing process have no effect at all, and there is no possibility of splitting or cracking occurring. , the board has a latent function of expanding and restoring, and adheres closely to the skin A' of the base material, turning it into a round bar of annual ring skin. Remove the warp stopper after adhesion is complete. After the bonding is completed, the board is removed from the tensioner, the reinforcing paper cloth opening is removed, and the surface of the board is polished.

As mentioned above, there is no fear of cracks occurring on the surface due to drying vibrations, etc., not only during processing but also after many years.
We are able to produce products that have the appearance of natural skin without any unsightly splits, have the desired rough taste, and have no lacerations, all according to plan.

The deck can also be obtained by using a part of this glued finished log as sawn material, but as shown in Figure 6, it is possible to process the tensioned signboard and use it to create an air bag by paring and tightening both sides of the tensioned signboard to create a gap 2. Therefore, if you use the first method of applying strong pressure, you can obtain the desired shark pattern on the surface, and the same method will give the best results for round bars and decks with no uneven surfaces. can get.
