DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a so-called stern nozzle, which is a nozzle with a ring-shaped front surface that is attached near the stern of a ship's hull in order to improve the propulsion efficiency of a ship, and the nozzle can be easily manufactured. The purpose of this invention is to reduce the weight of the nozzle.

以下本発明を実施の一例を示す図面に基づいて説明する

In Figs. 1 to 4, 1 is a nozzle with a ring-like front face and an approximately inverted triangular side face, which is installed on both sides near the stern of the hull 2 under water, and the rear end face la of this nozzle is vertical. The front end surface lb is inclined so that the nozzle gradually narrows toward the lower end. Also, the center of the circle on the rear end surface la of the nozzle 1 is F. . It is located coaxially with the rotation axis ○ of the blade 3. 4 is a rudder plate.

In manufacturing the nozzle 1 as described above, the present invention welds and fixes the inner surface material 7 to the leg portions 6 of the bone members 5 having a T-shaped cross section, which extend between the nozzles 1 and are located at appropriate intervals in the front-rear direction. After that, an outer surface material 9 of a strip-shaped thin plate is applied to the outer surface of the face material 8 of the frame member 5 so as to be separated from each other in the front-rear direction of the nozzle 1, and this outer surface material 9 is welded and fixed to the outer surface of the face material 8. It is something to do. In this case, by appropriately adjusting the spacing between the rib members 5, it is possible to create a structure that can withstand pressure even if the outer surface material 9 is composed of a strip-like thin plate. The method for manufacturing the stern nozzle of the present invention can be carried out as described above, and the following effects can be obtained.

That is, in the past, as shown in FIG.
An outer surface material 14 having approximately the same thickness as the inner surface material 13 is provided on the outer surface of the face material 12.
, 14 were brought into contact and fixed by welding so that the outer surface materials 14, 14 were in close contact with each other, but
Since No. 14 was thick, it took a lot of effort to weld it, and the weight of the nozzle was large. In contrast, in the present invention, the outer surface material of the thin plate that is separated from each other in the front and back direction of the nozzle has a cross section T
In order to fix with molten acid by supporting the outer surface of the face material of the bone part of the mold,
The welding work of the outer surface material becomes easier and the weight of the nozzle can be reduced. Further, by using a thin plate outer surface material, it is possible to easily form a curved surface on the outside of the nozzle. By the way, the present invention has a particularly remarkable effect by using a bone member having a T-shaped cross section. That is,
This is based on the rationale that large pressure does not act on the outer surface of the nozzle that is not the wing lifting surface, and that it does not have a large effect on the performance of the nozzle.By using a frame member with a T-shaped cross section, the outer surface material has a small size. The above accuracy is no longer required,
This dimensioning and installation can be done extremely easily.
