Description

本発明は船舶の推進効率を向上させるべく船体の船尾部
近傍に取付けられる正面形状リング状のノズル所謂船尾
ノズルの製作方法に関するもので、ノズルの製作を容易
に行なえると共にノズル重量の軽減を計ることができる

本発明は前記のようなノズル1を製作するに際し、ノズ

る断面T型の骨部材5の脚部6と内表面材7を溶接固定
した後、前記骨部材5の面材8外面にノズル1の前後方
向において互いに分断されるように帯状薄板の外表面材
9を薮当させ、この外表面材9を前記面材8外面に溶接
固定するものである。この場合前記骨部材5の間隔を適
当に調節することにより、外表面材9を帯状薄板で構成
しても圧力に耐える構造にすることができる。本発明船
尾ノズルの製作方法は以上述べたように実施し得るもの

とによりノズルの外側の曲面成形作業も容易に行なえる
。ところで本発明は断面T型の骨部材を使用しているこ
とにより、格別顕著な効果を有するものである。即ち、
ノズルの翼揚力面でない外表面は大きな圧力が作用しな
いこと、及びノズルの性能上大きな影響を及ぼさないと
いう根拠に基づいたもので、断面T型の骨部材を使用し
たことによって外表面材は寸法上の精度が不要となり、
