This type of safety tire has a tire outer skin 1 on the rim 5, as shown in the cross-sectional view in FIG.
A ring-shaped tire core is fitted inside the tire core.

This is to isolate the bead from the rim and to ensure that the bead is firmly fixed when the internal pressure drops. In order to assemble this safety tire, a core made up of several components is assembled inside the tire outer skin material, and then a core is inserted into the lower end of the tire core.
The elastic ring 6 is fitted, these are attached from one side of the rim, and then the seal ring 7 and the lock ring 4 are fitted and fixed while pressing the side ring 3 inward in the axial direction of the tire.

There is No.-141903. As shown in Figure 2,
The elastic ring 9 includes a main body portion 9a disposed below the tire core and a buffer portion 9b disposed at the lower end side of the tire core. A gap 10 is formed to facilitate movement. This arrangement of the elastic ring has the advantage of ensuring the fixation of the tire core and the tie 4/bead portion, as well as facilitating the task of assembling the tire rim. However, since the elastic ring is usually composed of a rubber elastic body, its elasticity decreases as the temperature rises while the tire is running, and as a result, the end 9C of the elastic ring that contacts the bead portion 11 is lifted outward in the radial direction, causing the elastic ring to deteriorate. The diameter of the end portion 9c of the ring gradually increases, resulting in a disadvantage that the ability to securely hold the bead portion decreases.

ある。The present invention includes a tire outer skin mounted on the rim, and a built-in annular tire core that has an inner peripheral edge coaxially disposed outside the outer peripheral surface of the rim and an outer peripheral edge that supports the tire outer skin in the event of a tire puncture. an elastic ring that is inserted between the outer peripheral surface of the rim of the safety tire and the inner peripheral edge of the tire core, the elastic ring being a solid ring that is inserted on the inner peripheral side of the tire core; a main body, and at least one side of the main body has a buffer gap that is freely compressible in the axial direction of the tire, and
This is an elastic ring for holding a tire core, characterized by comprising a buffer part in which a tensile material is embedded in the tip part.

- Consists of a buffer section 13b arranged at the lower end side of the core. A gap 14 is formed in the buffer portion so that the elastic ring can be easily compressed and moved in the tire axial direction.

Further, an annular tensile material 17 is embedded in the distal end of the elastic ring 13 that contacts the bead portion to ensure radial dimensional stability in this region. Here, the tensile material 17 is a cord of inorganic fiber or organic fiber having an elastic modulus of 3000 kg/Tsuru' or more, such as glass fiber, steel fiber, nylon, polyester, rayon, aramid, etc. A steel cord with excellent properties is suitable. The elastic modulus of the fiber cord is 3000 kg/Tsuru2
If it is smaller, it will not be able to sufficiently withstand the compressive force from the bead portion, and the dimensions of the elastic ring will not be maintained. And the code is talless! When using fiber cord, the diameter should be 0.
It is preferable to use a plurality of wires of 41N or less, preferably 0.3N or less, twisted together. This has a wire diameter of 0.0
If the elastic ring exceeds 4M, it will be difficult to deform the elastic ring, making it difficult to attach it to the rim. In order to incorporate the elastic rings 13 thus constructed into a safety tire, they are used as a pair of left and right rings as shown in FIG. Therefore, by pressing the side ring 3 in the axial direction of the tire when assembling the bead part of the tire outer skin into the rim, the buffer part of the elastic ring is compressed, and both sides 1 of the gap part 14 are compressed.
5.16 allows the bead to be easily fitted to the rim by joining.

Furthermore, since the tensile material 17 is embedded in the tip of the elastic ring, the radial dimension is maintained stably even under pressure from the tire bead and temperature rise due to running.

The left and right sides may be configured as a single unit without being separated,
It goes without saying that the opening of the cavity may be formed on the outside in the radial direction, contrary to the drawing. Further, when the elastic rings are used as a pair of separated left and right rings, the elastic ring of the present invention may be used only on one of the right side or the left side, and a conventionally shaped elastic ring may be used on the other side.
