Conventionally, large-scale integrated circuits (hereinafter referred to as LSIs) and chip-shaped electronic components are fixedly connected to printed circuit boards by etching a copper-clad board into a circuit pattern shape and then subjecting it to surface treatment such as gold plating. Fixation was achieved by soldering circuit components such as LSI onto the top. However, since the above-mentioned substrates are expensive, in recent years so-called carbon substrates, which are formed by printing a conductive paint such as carbon ink on an insulating substrate, have been widely used. Although this carbon substrate has the disadvantage that it cannot be soldered, it is widely used because of its low cost.

However, even with such carbon substrates, it becomes expensive to provide circuit patterns on both sides of one substrate, so there is a second substrate on the opposite side to the side on which the circuit patterns are provided, and connections with this second substrate are required. If this is necessary, you must use expensive cable connectors or forcefully design the second board so that it is located in the middle of the carbon board with the circuit pattern at the expense of other component placement. did not become.

Fixing the circuit components to the carbon substrate 1' as described above involves bonding the terminals of the circuit components to the carbon substrate using a conductive adhesive, and then applying the laminate material coated entirely with adhesive onto the carbon substrate from above the terminals of the circuit components. [Objective] Accordingly, the present invention eliminates the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional circuit by making it possible to change the direction of the circuit pattern using such a laminate material.

This keyboard section 2 is provided with a plurality of key buttons 7 that can be slid in the vertical direction with respect to the upper case la, and on the key tops of the key buttons 7, various key manual contents are displayed by printing or the like. Become. A key rubber 8 made of an elastic insulating material such as silicone rubber is disposed below the key button 7, and a conductive layer 9 is formed on the bottom of the key rubber 8. In addition, key patterns 10a and 10b are formed on the carbon substrate 6 using carbon ink corresponding to each key button 7, and when the key button 7 is pressed down with a finger or the like to press the key manually, the key rubber 8 is lowered. The conductive layer 9 forms the key pattern 10a.

In addition, the display section 3 includes a liquid crystal display 11 as a display element housed in a display frame 12 of the upper case 1a, and a plurality of electrodes (not shown) provided on the lower surface of the liquid crystal display 11 and a carbon substrate. Electrical connection of the carbon electrode provided on the electrode 6 opposite to the above electrode is achieved by compressing and interposing a zebra-type connector between the two electrodes.

The above-mentioned zebra-type connector is made by alternately laminating and fixing insulating thin film sheets such as silicone rubber and conductive thin film sheets, and cutting them at right angles to the laminated sheets to form a rod shape. Electrical connection is established between both electrodes via a conductive sheet.

f Main circuit components are located below the liquid crystal display 11.
A square hole 16a is provided in the carbon substrate 6, and this LSI 15 is pushed into the square hole 16a.
Terminals 17 and carbon substrate 6 provided around LSI 15
A conductive adhesive is interposed between the patterns (circuits) provided on the top to ensure electrical continuity and to fix the pattern. What is indicated by the reference numeral 18 is a laminate material made of an insulating film such as a polyester film coated with an adhesive over the entire surface. The remaining portion is bonded to the LSI terminal and the carbon substrate to form the carbon substrate 6.
The terminal 17 of the LSI 15 is held securely. A terminal pattern 19 corresponding to the terminal 17 of the LSI 15 is formed on the lower surface of the laminate material 18 using conductive paint such as carbon ink, and this terminal pattern 19 is extended to the end of the laminate material 18. By forming the connection pattern 20 on the portion, the conductive pattern, which was formed upward on the carbon substrate, can be turned downward on the laminate material.

Therefore, when transmitting signals on the pattern of the carbon substrate onto the printed circuit board on which various circuit components 21 provided on the lower side of the carbon substrate 6 are mounted, the printed circuit board 22 corresponds to the terminal pattern 19 on the laminate material. By providing a terminal pattern on the two and interposing the zebra type connector 23 between the two, it becomes possible to easily establish an electrical connection between the two.

By providing a pattern on the laminate material 18 in this manner, it becomes possible to easily reverse the pattern surface of the carbon substrate 6. In this embodiment, the terminals of the LSI 15 and the pattern on the laminate material were made to face each other to establish direct electrical continuity from the LSI, but by making the pattern on the laminate material 18 and the pattern on the carbon substrate 6 face each other, Continuity can be established from pattern 6.

[Effects] As described above, according to the present invention, the surface of the electrical pattern on the board can be reversed at low cost, and the connection pattern with other electrical circuits can be reversed from the surface of the electrical pattern on the board. It can be used as a surface, and also facilitates connection with other electrical circuits.
