Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 内燃機関の廃ガス中の酸素濃度を測定する電気化学的セ
    ンサにおいて、 閉じた１端を有しかつ廃ガスに曝露するのに適合した第
    １管部、及び第１管部に電気的結合を得るためにこれに
    連結する第２結合管部（この結合管部はフランジ）を有
    する酸素イオン伝導固体電解質よりなる閉じた管； 第１管部の固体電解質の少くとも１部分の内面に電子伝
    導層； 第１管部の固体電解質の外面の少（とも１部分に外部電
    子伝導層（この外部伝導層は、廃ガスの温度で熱力学的
    に安定な化合物の熱焼ガスからの形成を接触作用する材
    料であり、外部伝導層の厚さよりも大きくはない直径又
    は巾の孔又は裂溝を有する）； 及び外部電子伝導層を被覆し層の厚さ０．１〜５００μ
    ｍを有する多孔性電気絶縁保護層（この層の厚さ対孔径
    の割合は１０：１〜１０００：１）からなり、 電気絶縁層は、外部伝導層で被覆されていない第１管部
    のイオン伝導固体電解質の外面中くとも全部及びこれに
    連結する第２結合管部のイオン伝導固体電解質の外面全
    部を被覆し、 これによって廃ガスに曝露されるイオン伝導固体電解質
    の全外面が被覆されて、イオン伝導固体電解質と廃ガス
    との直接的接触を阻止する電気化学的センサ。
