Traditionally, when adding fragrance to wood, fragrances were applied directly to the wood surface. Alternatively, T2 paint or wax containing fragrance was applied to the wood surface. However, fragrances applied to the wood surface have problems in that the fragrance dissipates quickly and lasts only about 40 days, and the fragrance changes due to oxidation when exposed to air. Additionally, it was difficult to control the intensity of the scent.

The first aspect of the present invention is a young wood characterized by impregnating a wood material with a fragrance, and a method for obtaining a young wood by impregnating a wood material with a fragrance. The second gist is a method for manufacturing young wood, which is characterized in that a young wood material in the form of a plate is used for at least a part of the wood material and laminated and bonded. These will be explained below based on examples.

In producing the young timber according to the present invention, the raw wood is sliced into veneers between 0.3 mm and 2.0 mm. A fragrance is applied to the veneer, and the veneer is placed in a high-pressure cooker or a vacuum cooker to impregnate the veneer with the fragrance to obtain a bonded veneer.

The adhesive used when laminating and adhering plate-shaped young wood materials such as young wood and laminated boards is preferably a urea-based or urethane-based synthetic resin adhesive that has relatively little odor. Depending on the case, a completely odorless adhesive such as casein or glue may be used.

In the examples, all of the wood materials constituting the scented wood composite were young wood materials. In that case, the egg weight may give off a strong odor. Therefore, you can use a non-bonding material for the top and bottom two wood materials, or if the scent is still strong, you can mix a plate-shaped non-scented wood material and a young wood material and perform laminated bonding. .

The young wood according to this invention is characterized by being made by impregnating a wood material with a fragrance, so the scent is retained for a longer period of time compared to the conventional young wood whose surface is simply coated with fragrance. This effect is brought about. The method for producing young wood according to the present invention is a method for obtaining young wood by impregnating a wood material with a fragrance, in which a plate-shaped young wood material impregnated with a fragrance is mixed into a plate-like wood material. It is characterized in that it is used in at least a portion of the wood and is laminated and bonded, and the laminated young wood is used to form conduits, tracheids, etc. from the width direction and end direction of the wood.
Fragrances or fragrance molecules penetrate the wood tissue, etc. and evaporate into the air, dissipating the fragrance (however, in the thickness direction, a resinous adhesive layer (sealing layer) blocks ventilation. Therefore, the permeation of fragrances or fragrance molecules is suppressed and the loss of fragrance is prevented, and the fragrance lasts longer than before, and deterioration of fragrance due to oxidation of fragrances is prevented. In addition, by changing the proportion of young wood material in the board-shaped wood materials that are laminated and bonded, it is possible to control the strength of the scent emitted by the finished young wood material, from a faint scent to a strong scent. It also has the effect of becoming

If the above-mentioned young wood is cut at various angles and reassembled so that the layer structure surface of the cut wood pieces (the surface where the laminated structure of the laminated wood is roughened) appears in a specific direction, the fragrance will be You will be able to further enhance the effect of controlling strength. For example, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the laminated scented wood pieces 4 are reassembled so that the layer structure surface 3 is exposed only on the upper and lower two surfaces or on the upper and lower two surfaces and the side surfaces. The fragrance is emitted only from the exposed surface of the layer structure. In order to make the layer structure surface 3 appear on only one side of the re-assembled material,
As shown in FIG. 4, on top of a pyramid-shaped laminated scented wood piece 5 whose only bottom surface is not an exposed layer surface, a triangular prism-shaped laminated aromatic wood piece 5' whose only side surface is not an exposed layer surface.
If they are reassembled so that four pieces are placed, the layered structure surface 3 will be exposed only on the upper surface of this reassembled material.
