Claims (2)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. （１）用紙搬送路に所定間隔で配置した第１の用紙検出
    手段と第２の用紙検出手段とを有し、用紙が搬送され該
    用紙の後端が前記第１の用紙検出手段を通過時に、前記
    第２の用紙検出手段に前記用紙が到達していた場合光学
    装置を後退させ、未到達の場合前記第２の用紙検出手段
    に前記用紙の先端又は後端が通過した時に光学装置を後
    退させることを特徴とする像形成装置。
  2. （２）前記第１の用紙検出手段は用紙の先端を検知し、
    光学装置を前進させることを特徴とする実用新案登録請
    求の範囲第１項記載の像形成装置。
