These stainless steel enameled products are useful for sinks, washstands, pots, etc., but the interface between the glass layer and the stainless steel base is extremely susceptible to rust. The reason for this is that in order to manufacture such stainless steel enamel products, pongee is applied to a stainless steel base and fired to form a glass layer on the surface of the base, but the glass layer shrinks when cooled after firing, so-called pongee. The phenomenon of bubbly occurs. When sleeve stiffness occurs, the base material that was once covered by the glass layer is exposed, but when this base surface comes into contact with air and moisture, rusting occurs rapidly due to the catalytic action of the remaining glass components. The purpose of the present invention is to effectively prevent rusting at the interface between the glass layer and the base material in stainless steel enamel products.
In addition, the purpose is to provide a product with a clear interface and a desirable appearance, and is characterized in that the interface is processed with metallicon and then polished.

The invention will be explained in detail below. In the present invention, the stainless steel used as the base material may be austenitic, ferritic, or martensitic, and is subjected to acid treatment, alkali treatment, shot blasting, liquid honing, dry honing, etc. before being coated with a glass layer. It is desirable to carry out pre-treatment.

The pongee application method includes a dry method in which powdered pongee medicine is sprinkled on the heated base material, a method in which the medicine is mixed with water as appropriate to form pongee medicine mud,
A wet method is used in which this is applied to the substrate by spraying, painting, pouring, dipping, etc., followed by drying and firing.
To apply pongee to a part of the substrate, mask the predetermined area with a masking material such as adhesive tape and then apply the pongee, remove the masking area and then fire it, or use a refractory material that does not adhere to the substrate. A method is used in which the refractory is peeled off after a layer is applied, fired, and then the refractory is peeled off. The metals used for metallicon processing at the interface between the glass layer and the substrate include metals and alloys such as aluminum, copper, zinc, chromium, nickel, stainless steel, and duralumin, but it is preferable to use corrosion-resistant and oxidation-resistant metals. Certain metals and alloys are used.

Flame spraying is used for metallization processing. That is, flame spraying using acetylene, oxygen-acetylene, etc. is generally used. After metallization is applied to the interface between the glass layer and the substrate, the surface is polished with a sandpaper, paper sandpaper, toshi, buff, etc.

In this way, since the interface between the glass layer and the substrate is covered with a metal layer by metallicon processing, it does not come into direct contact with air, moisture, etc., and therefore does not rust.

Further, although it is extremely difficult to clearly draw a line at the interface between the glass layer and the substrate, since such an interface is covered with a metal layer, the line can be easily drawn by the metal layer. Examples will be described below to further specifically explain the present invention.
