本発明は、金属板コイル、紙ロールその他のコイル状製
品(本明細害ではコイルと総称する)の包装方法に関す

ており、したがって多くの労力を必要とするばかりでな

より幅広の包装紙をコイル外周に巻きつけ、コイル幅方
向両側端からそれぞれ突出する包装紙部分をコイルの側
端面に対してひだ状に折込んだ後、このひだ折り部の端
部なコイル中心孔内に折り込んで粘着テープにより中心
孔内周面に貼り付は固定してコイル状製品を包装するに
際し、前記コイルの中心孔内に出入作動し得るピストン
状体の外周に流体圧により膨張可能の袋体を設けた内径
処理治具を用い、この内径処理治具を前記コイル中心孔
外に少なくとも部分的に引き出した状態で前記ひだ折り
部の端部な前記袋体の外周面に粘着テープにより仮接着
した後、前記袋体を収縮させた状態で前記内径処理治具
を前記コイル中心孔内圧挿入し、この挿入時に袋体から
剥離した粘着テープを前記袋体の膨張作動によりコイル
中心孔の内周面に貼り付け、これにより前記ひだ折り部
の端部をコイル中心孔の内周面に貼り付は固定すること
