In recent years, in order to obtain higher reliability, some contact structures have been put into practical use with a twin crossbar contact structure.

The two points are in contact. To construct such a twin crossbar type contact structure, for example, attach two terminal pieces identical to the single contact type to either the fixed terminal piece or the movable terminal piece in parallel to the base. is generally the case.

Conventionally, even in twin cross bar type devices, contact members are fixed to each terminal piece by welding, culling, etc.

There were problems such as easy variation. In addition, in order to ensure contact between the contacts, it is necessary to make the contacts protrude from other parts, but in order to stabilize the contact of the twin crossbar type as mentioned above, it is necessary to fill the entire ridge with precious metal. However, it also had the disadvantage of requiring a large amount of precious metals.

A terminal piece in which a contact member is integrated is formed from a clad plate partially inlaid with precious metal, and the contact portions of this terminal piece are bent along the longitudinal direction of the terminal piece to form a terminal extending in the longitudinal direction. To provide a method for manufacturing a crossbar contact type microswitch, which eliminates the need for a step of fixing a contact member to a terminal piece by forming a surface, and provides a highly reliable contact structure. It is something.

This terminal piece 1 is made of a series of plate materials, which are bifurcated and each has a free shape curved in a wave shape. A noble metal such as gold (Au) or silver (Ag) is inlaid on the end portions, that is, on both the front and back sides of the contact portions 2, 2, and when the switch is completed, the contact portions 2, 2 are formed into a wave shape as described above. A twin crossbar type contact structure is formed between the fixed terminal piece (not shown) which is arranged opposite to the ridgeline of the terminal.

The terminal piece 1 is a double-sided clad plate in which noble metal is inlaid in stripes, and the terminal piece 1 is punched into a predetermined shape from the clad plate 3 by a press punching process. Further, the noble metal inlay portion 5 of the clad plate 3 is provided at a position corresponding to the contact portions 2, 2 of the terminal piece 1 formed as described above. That is, the noble metal inlay portions are located on both the front and back surfaces of the bifurcated tip portions of the terminal pieces 1, 1 punched and formed from the clad plate 3. Next, the terminal piece 1 formed as described above is subjected to a press bending process, and the bifurcated tip portions are each bent into a wave shape along the longitudinal direction.
As a result, twin crossbar-shaped contact portions 2, 2 as shown in FIG. 1 are formed.

Reference numeral 3 denotes a so-called edgelay type clad plate in which precious metal is inlaid as shown in FIG. According to this embodiment, the bifurcated tip portions, that is, the contact portions 2, 2 are all made of noble metal. Next, press processing is performed in the same manner as in the previous example, and by twisting the bifurcated tip portions (contact portions 2, 2) to a predetermined perpendicularity, a contact structure as shown in FIG. 6 is obtained. It will be done. In the terminal piece constructed according to this embodiment, the edges of the contact portions 2, 2 made of noble metal serve as contact portions with other opposing contacts.

It is also possible to do so. Furthermore, in each of the above embodiments, a twin cross bar type movable terminal piece was described as an example, but according to the manufacturing method of the present invention, the number of contacts can be increased and the number of contacts can be increased in addition to the fin type. It is also possible to construct a similar configuration or a twin crossbar configuration.

A step of forming a terminal piece having a predetermined shape by arranging an inlay portion, and a step of bending each contact portion of this terminal piece along the longitudinal direction of the terminal piece to form a contact surface extending in the longitudinal direction. including;
Since the precious metal inlay part is configured as a cross-spar contact, the process of fixing the contact member, which was conventionally the most troublesome process, is omitted, simplifying the entire process, and the use of clad material is also possible. This makes the positional accuracy and strength of the contact part uniform, and since the bending process is performed along the longitudinal direction of the terminal piece, the contact surface is large and stable contact can be made, so a highly reliable microswitch can be obtained. In addition, according to the present invention, the bending process is performed along the longitudinal direction of the terminal piece, so the process is easy, and the contact spacing can be adjusted by changing the bending degree and shape of the contact part. This has the advantage that a highly versatile microswitch can be obtained.
