Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce a plug with uniform hollow plug shape at all times, by forming a protrusion at the central part of a top wall of a bulged part in the form of a headband, of a knob obtained by molding a glass tube by fusion. CONSTITUTION:A capillary 12 is fused to a bulged part (8a) in the form of a headband of a knob formed previously from a glass tube at right angle, and a continuous part (8d) is formed on a part opposite to the capillary 12 on the peripheral wall of the bulged part (8a) in the form of the headband. The capillary 12 is held by a chuck 14 of a lathe, and a separately manufactured plug body 5 is fixed on another chuck 16 through a nipping tool 15. Joining parts (8d) and (5a) are mutually joined while rotating both the connection part (8d) and the body 5 in the same direction. After joining, the base part (12a) of the capillary 12 is sealed and fused to form a protrusion (8b) and give a finished product.

Conventionally, in order to manufacture this type of stopper, first a part of the glass tube (1) is heated and stretched, and then a second part of the glass tube (1) is heated and stretched.
After forming two necks (la) (la) by applying a second heat-stretching process with an appropriate spacing (1) as shown in the figure, one end (1b) is welded as shown in Figure 3. and the other end (
While blowing (b) from 1c), shape the whole into a hollow shape to form a jujube-shaped knob (2) as shown in Fig. 4.
After that, while heating the thin tube (1d) on the side to be blown, bend it into a U-shape (1e) as shown in Figure 5, and then
After bending it into a letter shape (1f) and then welding the constriction part (1g), blow (b-) L from the thin tube (ld) side to create a connection that will be connected to the entire stopper as shown in Figure 6. Mouthpiece (2a

However, in the conventional manufacturing method as described above,
When joining the pipe (1) and the pipe (4) with one joint, and when forming the lower end (4a) of the pipe (4), the rotation axis is the pipe (

However, the tube (1d) is made by melting the glass locally, bending it into a U-shape as mentioned above, and then bending it into an L-shape so that its center coincides with the center of the knob. Because of this, this work required a high level of skill and skill, and was difficult.

Furthermore, since the local heating work when finally melting this tube (1d) is usually done at a high temperature of around 2,000°C, the air inside the stopper body and knob (2) expands abnormally, causing the melt to melt. The sealing process was extremely difficult and resulted in an unstable condition, which resulted in irregular shapes and the disadvantage that the intended shape could not be changed.

In view of the above points, the present invention was devised to provide a glass stopper whose knob always has a well-shaped shape. The knob part is provided with a hollow plug which has a protrusion formed by melt-cutting on the part thereof, and the method for manufacturing the plug includes cutting the knob part at right angles to the headband-shaped bulge part of the knob, which has been previously shaped by shaping process from a glass tube. At the same time as welding the capillary, a connecting part is formed in the portion of the circumferential wall of the headband-shaped bulge that faces the capillary, and then the capillary is rotated to rotate the knob, and a stopper body formed separately by molding is attached. While rotating at the same time,
The pre-formed connecting part of the plug body and the connecting part of the knob are welded to connect the entire plug to the knob, and then the attachment part of the thin tube to the knob is melted, and the melted part is sealed. The present invention proposes a method for manufacturing a stopper with a hollow knob.

At this time, the headband-shaped bulge (8a) not only serves to prevent the entire knob from softening and deforming when connecting the connecting ports (8d) and (5a), but also prevents the machining from being jeopardized.

In any case, the present invention provides a stopper with a hollow knob, which has a protrusion formed by fusing at the center of the neck of the headband-shaped bulge of the knob, and also provides a method for manufacturing the same. The stopper is reinforced by a headband-shaped bulge on the knob, and is easy to grip when operating the stopper, and has a protrusion formed by welding on the top wall of the headband-shaped bulge. It is characterized by having an accessory-like design structure and a unique appearance that has not been seen before, and according to the manufacturing method of the stopper, a headband-shaped bulge is formed so that the length of both ends is shortened from the center of the knob. It is easy to make the plug almost uniformly, and by welding a thin tube perpendicular to the headband-shaped bulge and molding it using this as the rotation axis, it is easy to bring out the center of the stopper itself, which makes the knob part This greatly helps to securely weld the material to the stopper body, and prevents the knob body from deforming when the knob part and the stopper body are joined together. At the same time, the processing of the opposite end of the thin tube creates a headband-shaped bulge on the knob part. It has the characteristic that it is easy to do without any deformation.

Therefore, it is much easier to manufacture and handle than the conventional method, which requires special skills to manufacture regardless of the size of the stopper with a hollow knob.
