It was unsuitable for grinding and removing grains and the like.

ある。Due to these drawbacks, such abrasive removal tools made of foam glass have recently appeared. As shown in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 52-25918, superfoaming agents such as carbon and calcium carbonate are added to inorganic gantry lath powder, the mixture is placed in a heat-resistant mold, heated, foamed, and then removed from the mold. , and is manufactured by annealing.

うような難点もあった。However, in this manufacturing method, the decomposition temperature for gas generation of the above-mentioned blowing agent used in this process is 800 to 9 degrees Celsius.
Since the temperature is relatively high at 0.degree. C., there is a problem in that foam molding must be carried out at a high temperature of usually around 850.degree. Moreover, as schematically shown in Figure 2, the resulting foamed product is extremely thin, sharp, and fragile, with the membrane wall (12) that seals off the bubbles aυ almost completely crystallized into glass. . For this reason, if the grinding power is too good and you apply a little force, you may end up cutting the skin too much, and if you rub the slightly thinner parts of the skin, you are likely to get abrasions, so it is dangerous if you are not careful when using it. In addition, because it is brittle, it wears out very quickly, cannot withstand long-term use and has a short service life, and because its strength is low, it cannot be made into a product by itself. However, it also had the disadvantage that it had to be bonded to a strong material such as a hard synthetic resin sponge to make a product.

を目的とするものである。Purpose of the Invention The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems, and provides a grinding tool with a performance that is between the above-mentioned conventional pumice stone and foam glass grinding tools, that is, in terms of grinding power. It has a sharpness that is somewhere between the above two, and the wear rate is also about the middle, so the grinding force decreases over time, and it also has a certain degree of strength and a long service life.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for manufacturing a rubbing tool that can be easily cut and formed.

By performing the sintering process at a relatively low temperature and at the same time foaming under low temperature conditions using a unique foaming agent, it is possible to create a foamed mass under a sintered state similar to that of ceramics. By turning it into a physical object, it achieved its intended purpose.

It is characterized by forming a closed-cell glass foam sintered body by heating at a high temperature and interfering it.

。Instead of conventional carbon, calcium carbonate, etc., dolomite powder is added as a foaming agent to glass powder with a low softening point such as soda lime glass and mixed uniformly. By using dolomite powder as a foaming agent, it is possible to perform foam molding at a relatively low temperature, which makes it possible to give the product the desired physical properties. be. Dolomite powder is a naturally occurring substance represented by MgCO3 (!aoox), and when heated to 650°C to 780°C, it decomposes and generates carbon dioxide scum, which can cause glass foaming. It is possible to foam and sinter the glass powder at such a relatively low temperature, and as a result, the product according to the present invention has a large number of closed cells (

.. A preferable range is 5% by weight. That is, if the blended amount of dolomite powder is less than 1.5% by weight, there is a risk that the resulting foam will have a high bulk density due to the insufficient amount of gas generated. If the temperature exceeds that level, the decomposition products of calcium oxide and magnesium oxide may crystallize a portion of the glass, raising the softening point of the glass and making low-temperature foaming difficult.

Let's do it. If the foam molding temperature does not reach 700℃ or exceeds 780℃, the foaming ratio may be low or non-uniform foaming may occur, or the product may have the same drawbacks as conventional foam glass products. Therefore, it is difficult to obtain the desired excellent rubbing tool. Note that the heating time is preferably 1 hour or more.

ものである。Effects of the Invention According to this invention, dolomite powder is used as a foaming agent and foam molding is performed at a relatively low temperature, so the useful life of the mold can be increased compared to the conventional manufacturing of foam glass products. In addition, the foam molding operation is easy υ, and the product can be provided at low cost. Moreover, since the scraping tool obtained in this way is made of a foamed sintered body, the cut surface of the surface exhibits a complicated uneven pattern, and the four parts, that is, the edge part of the partition wall that closes off the air bubbles, are similar to those of the cutter. It exhibits a necessary and sufficient level of excellent abrasive function or grinding force on raw skin and the like. Moreover, this grinding force is not sharp on the membrane wall of the foam glass, and it is not strong enough to cause scratches even if rubbed against the skin, and has a much better grinding function than that of natural pumice stone. Therefore, it can be used extremely conveniently for polishing and removing corn grains and raw hides while ensuring safety.

Not only can it have enough strength to withstand practical use, and the shape or form of the product can be freely selected, but foam glass does not wear out quickly and has physical properties that make it more easily worn out than natural pumice. Because of this, it can withstand relatively long-term use, does not clog the pores due to moderate surface abrasion, and always maintains its initial scratching force well over a long period of time.
