Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a retouching liquid which has excellent dyness and gives a retouched film having good flexibility, consisting of a specified ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer resin, a chlorinated hydrocarbon solvent and titanium white. CONSTITUTION:5-15wt% ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer resin having a vinyl acetate content of 40-90wt%, a crystallinity index of 5-0%, a degree of elongation of 400-2,500% and a second-oder transition point of 10-25 deg.C and at least 50wt% titanium white are dispersed in a chlorinated hydrocarbon solvent such as 1,1,1-trichloroethane. EFFECT:Retouched parts can be rewritten in water ink and a retouched film can be prevented from being peeled off by the bending of paper.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a correction fluid for correcting obscuring handwriting of water-based ink such as fountain pens and water-based felt-tip pens, handwriting of ordinary ballpoint pens, printing of typewriters, etc. The present invention relates to a correction fluid that allows a correction coating film to dry well and to provide a flexible correction coating film.

As a correction fluid for concealing and correcting typewriter prints, there is one that uses acrylic resin, but although the correction coating is uniform, the coating is hard and the corrected paper may be folded away from the corrected area. When dried, cracks occur in the paint film along the creases, causing the paint film to peel off. To solve this problem, plasticizers have been added.

However, if a correction fluid containing plasticizer is used to rewrite the corrected area with water-based ink, the water-based ink will be repelled and the rewritten handwriting will become unclear. A new agency problem arose.

Furthermore, conventional solvents use aromatic hydrocarbons such as toluene and kiln, which dry the paint film slowly and are not suitable for correcting typewriter printing, which requires high printing speed. <It was something that didn't exist.

Therefore, the inventors of the tree discovered that the correction coating film dries well,
A resin, which is an essential component of the correction liquid, is used to obtain a correction liquid that can provide a flexible correction coating film without using a plasticizer.
As a result of various studies regarding solvents, the present invention was finally completed.

EVA is a thermoplastic resin obtained by copolymerization of ethylene and vinyl acetate, and has a molecular structure in which vinyl acetate is copolymerized randomly in the ethylene chain, but it can be ethylene-rich or vinyl acetate-rich depending on the copolymerization ratio The former is produced by a high-pressure polyethylene process, and the latter is produced by bath liquid polymerization or emulsion polymerization.
