    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 透光性セラミクス管からなる発光管バルブの両端部をそ
    れぞれ電極を支持する閉塞体で封止し、一方の閉塞体と
    電極との中間に輻射熱遮断体を設けた発光管を有する金
    属蒸気放電灯において、上記輻射熱遮断体はその外周面
    が発光管バルブの内周面に近接して発光管空間を平面的
    に遮断する複数の羽根からなるプロペラ状をなし、かつ
    複数の羽根は互に段差を有するように形成されているこ
    とを特徴とする金属蒸気放電灯。
