Also, there is no heat loss due to electrodes,
Since the difference in discharge impedance between the initial lighting state and the stable lighting state is small, it is easy to inject power in the initial lighting state, and because the discharge power is biased toward the lamp tube wall, it is difficult to reach the maximum output of the lamp. Another advantage is that it takes less time.

しようとするものである。FIG. 2 is a longitudinal cross-sectional view showing the configuration of a wave discharge light source device. In the figure, 1 is a magnetron antenna, 2 is a magnetron antenna, 3 is a waveguide, and 4 is a microwave antenna configured in a hemispherical shape.
Reference numeral 5 denotes a microwave power feeding port provided at the junction between the Soratsukioka 4 and the waveguide 3, and 6 a protrusion 62 formed of the same quartz glass as the light-emitting bulb 61, which protrudes from the light-emitting bulb 61 in a symmetrical direction. 7 is a fan, 8 is a vent provided on the back of cavity 4, 9 is a mesh plate that covers the front of cavity 4, 1 is a magnetron, waveguide 3, and cavity 4 is It is a box that houses things such as. Next, the operation will be explained. Microwaves generated by the magnetron 1 are radiated into a waveguide 3 through a magnetron antenna 2. This microwave propagates through the waveguide 3 and is radiated into the cavity 4 through the feed port 5, forming a microwave electromagnetic field in the cavity 4. Due to this microwave electromagnetic field, the rare gas in the lamp 6 is discharged, the tube wall is heated, the metal such as mercury in the tube is evaporated and gasified, and a discharge of the metal gas occurs. At this time, light with a specific emission spectrum is generated depending on the type of metal. In order to utilize this light effectively, a reflective surface is formed on the rear surface of the cavity 4, and the front surface is covered with a mesh plate that does not transmit microwaves but allows light to pass through, allowing light to be emitted only from the front surface. On the other hand, magnetron wealth and lamp 6
Since it is necessary to cool the magnetron 1, the magnetron 1 is cooled by blowing air through the fan hole.Furthermore, this air is configured so that it cools the lamp crab through the vent hole 8 and then is exhausted from the closing plate 9. In the microwave light source device configured in this way, since the lamp 6 is small, it is easy to obtain the desired illuminance distribution by appropriately shaping the reflecting surface of the cavity turtle. It has the advantage that the unevenness of the emission intensity distribution due to the unevenness of the field distribution can be reduced, and the surface to be irradiated can be uniformly irradiated. However, since the supporting structure of the lamp 6 is such that the tip of the elongated quartz glass protrusion extended from the light-emitting bulb 61 is also engaged with the cavity wall base 1, the protrusion is often damaged when the lamp 6 is installed. This was a problem because the expensive lamp 6 was wasted. In this case, if the protruding part 62 was made thicker to prevent damage, the heat capacity would become too large and the lighting characteristics of the lamp 6 would deteriorate, making it impractical. This invention This method was developed in view of the above circumstances, and includes a lamp support having one end supported on the wall surface of the microwave cavity and a lamp support portion formed at the other end, and a protruding portion of the lamp being formed on the lamp support portion of this support. It is an object of the present invention to provide a microwave discharge light source device that prevents accidental damage to the protruding portion of the lamp without impairing the lighting characteristics of the lamp, and allows the lamp to be used without waste.
以下この発明の一実施例を第2図に基づいて説明する。An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIG.

One end of the lamp supports 13 is inserted into the support section 2 of the Sotsukioka wall 41 and fixed with screws 14. (only one of them is shown), the interval between the tips protruding into the microwave cavity 4 approximately corresponds to the outer diameter of the lamp 6. Furthermore, an insertion groove 11 for inserting the protrusion 62 of the lamp 6 is formed upwardly at this tip. The lamp 6 is fixed in a predetermined position by dropping the protrusion 62 of the lamp 6 into the insertion groove 1 of the lamp support 3 from above. The reason why a quartz tube is used as the material for the lamp support 13 is to reduce transmission loss of light and to reduce disturbance of the electromagnetic field distribution within the microwave cavity 4. Note that the configuration other than the above is similar to that shown in the diagram. By forming the rock like this, the lamp support portion of the lamp support turtle 3 is
Since the bending moment acting on the protrusion 62 of the lamp 6 is reduced, breakage of the protrusion 62 can be prevented without using measures such as making the protrusion 62 thicker.

Figure 3 shows that one opening □ of the cylindrical lamp support shell 3 at both ends is used as a lamp support shell, and one lamp support shell 3 is attached so that it can move forward and backward from the air chest carrier. This is a practical example of this.

FIG. 4 shows still another embodiment of the present invention, in which 31 lamp support weights are connected to a mesh plate 9 at the tip thereof.
The protruding part 62 of the lamp 6 is inserted into the lamp support part 1' formed at the tip.

となく使用し得る効果がある。This embodiment is particularly effective in simplifying the structure of the lamp support member 3 and the lamp 6 in a usage state in which the mesh plate 9 faces upward. In addition, even in the above-mentioned embodiments of the misalignment, the material of the lamp support member 3 is not limited to the quartz glass tube, and the lamp protrusion 62 can be securely held, and disturbances in the electromagnetic field distribution within the sky 8 car 4 can be reduced. Any dielectric material such as quartz or alumina may be used. Further, the structure of the support part G2 that supports the lamp support 13 may be either closed or open, as long as it can securely hold the lamp support 13 and do not transmit microwaves.Lamp protrusion 62 The number of lamp supports 13 is not limited to one or two as in the above embodiments, but may be three or more.
As explained above, the present invention includes a lamp support having one end supported on the wall of the same microwave ear that forms a microwave electromagnetic field and a lamp support formed at the end of the lamp support. Since the protrusion formed on the lamp is supported, breakage of the protrusion of the lamp can be prevented without impairing the lighting characteristics of the lamp, and the lamp can therefore be used without wasting it.
