Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は一般的には外科用ガウンに関するものであり、
より詳細に述べるならば、容易に拡げて完全に開いた状
態にすることができるような形に折シたたまれる外科用
ガウンに関するものである。
手術室では使い捨ての外科用ガウンが再使用ｐＪ能のリ
ネンガウンに取って代シつつおる。使い捨ての外科用ガ
ウンは、リネンガウンにあるような裂は目或いは開口を
もたないために、細菌の外科医から患者への移行をよｐ
良く防止する。その上、使い捨ての外科用ガウンは、ガ
ウンの濡れ、並びにガウンの請れた表面を通しておこる
患者と外斜医間の細菌の移動を阻止する防水布で作られ
る。
使い捨てのガウンを作る布は、一般に、不織布の一部と
して結合物質ヲ含む不織布である。布は神々の防水剤お
よび布仕上げ剤をガウン表向に含むこともできる。これ
らの結合物質、防水剤および布仕上は剤のために、使い
捨ての手術用ガウンの成るものは、使用に先立つこれら
ガウンの通常滅菌後に、表面同志くっつき合ったり、固
着したりする傾向を有することがわかった。ガウンは包
装のため、そして手術室のスタッフ達が着やすいように
、コンパクトな形に折シたたまれるのが一般的である。
米国特許第３，３５９，５６９号は、そのようなガウン
に典型的なたたむ順序を示している。
ガウンは製造され、コンパクト包装に折シたたまれ、販
売前に滅菌されるのが一般的である。蒸気かエチレンオ
キシドガスを高温で用いる滅菌サイクル、又は照射滅菌
は、布に固着性金おこす傾向がある。一般にガウン上部
の折りたたみは固着しない。々ぜならば下部折りたたみ
の重預がガウンを開くのに十分な大きさであるからであ
る、しかしガウンの一番下の部分は、固着し、完全には
拡がらず、そのガウンの隣接折りたたみ部分にくっつい
たま咬になることがよくある。ガウンを完全に拡げるた
めには、手術室スタッフの一人がガウンの外側表面に触
れる必要がある。この、ガウン下部の外側表面との接触
は、手術室の無菌的方法の厳しいやシ方に基づくと、ガ
ウンを汚染すると考えられる。
本発明は、この問題を完全に排除する折りたたみ順序を
もったガウンを提供する。
本発明のガウンは、主シート１０と、ガウンにと９つけ
られた袖１３とから成る、後側で閉じるガウンである。
各々の袖の端には、縫いつけるかその他の方法で止めら
れた筒状のニットカフ１４がある。ガウンの前回シを閉
じるために用いられる首回り止め１６（普通はウェルク
ロ（ＶＥ’ＬＣＲＯ）ファスナー）がある。当業者には
周知のように、スナップ又はタイのようなその他の首回
り止めを用いることもできる。このガウンには、米国／
ｌ￥許第３，９３５，５５６号が開示した型のウェスト
止めがある。ウェスト止めは、ガウンのウェストの位置
にと９つけられた２本のタイ１１から成る。各タイの固
定されていない方の端は、移動式装具１２に開放可能に
止められる。移動式装具１２はタイをガウン着用者の脇
又は背中に無菌的に動かしてそこに止めるために用いら
れる。ガウンには、ガウンの後側が割れないために結ば
れる付加的タイ１９をとシつけてもよい。特殊なウェス
ト止めは本発明の主要な部分ではない。
ガウンの前側部分を第２図に示す。これは連続させる不
織布から成る。ガウンの前側部分には縫い目又はその他
の口がないのが望ましい、なぜならばガウンの前側部分
は患者と接触する可能性があシ、縫い目のような隙間は
細菌を担った液を通過させるかも知れないからである。
この細菌を担った液は手術スタッフ全汚染することがあ
シ、多分患者を再汚染するであろう。第１および第２図
に示すように、袖１３はガウンの上端部分にとｐつけら
れる。袖のニットカフは、袖を着用者の腕にぴったりと
合わせるのに役立つ。ガウンの後側部分には縦方向の端
１Ｔおよび１８があシ、使用時にはこの端を互いに止め
つけてガウンの後を閉じる。
ガウン全たたむ順序は第１図〜第６図に示される。以下
に述べるガウンのたたみ方の順序において、［縦方向の
折りたたみ線」とは、ガウンの長さ、即ちガウンの上端
すなわち前回シからガウンの裾１５までの線に平行な線
である。「横方向の折りたたみ線」とは、一般に、縦方
向のたたみ線に垂直なたたみ線である。「前方に折シた
たむ」とは、ガウンの前側部分が、ガウンの前側の他の
部分に重なるようにたたむたたみ方である。「逆へ折シ
たたむ」とは、ガウンの後側をガウンの後側の他の部分
に重なるように折シたたむことである。前および後へ交
互に折シたたむと、扇子のようにたたまれる。ガウンを
たたむ場合、ガウンを平らに置き、ガウンの後側部分の
左および右側端１７および１８を、縦方向の折シたたみ
紳Ｆ１およびＦ１ａに清ってたたみ、その次に縦方向の
折υたたみ線Ｆ２およびＦ２ａに沿って逆にたたむ。そ
こでガウンの後側の布はガウンの脇を端にして（ｆ４Ｆ
かれる。ガウンの下部部分から、ガウンの上端すなわち
前回シの方向へ向かって、横方向の折υたたみ線Ｆ３．
　Ｆ４　、　Ｆ５　、およびＦ６に活って、前方へそし
て逆へと交互に折シたたんで行く。重ね合わせてたたむ
ことによシ、ガウン主体がコンパクトにたたまれる。第
４図に示すように、袖は１ｉｌＦ７およびＦ８に沿って
折シたたまれ、ガウンの一番下の折りたたみ部分２１と
次の折シたたみ部分２２との間にさし込まれる。袖をこ
の場所に置くことは、着用者がガウンを着る時にガウン
の裾１５がガウンの他の部分に固着又は粘着させないた
めには役立つ。
第５図に示すように、袖をガウンの一番下の折やたたみ
と次の折シたたみとの間に挿入した後、ガウンを縦方向
に延びる線Ｆ９およびＦｌｏに沿って折りたたむと、コ
ンパクトにたたまれたガウンができ上る。次にガウン’
ｔｉｐｉｉに沿ってたたむと、包装に適したサイズにた
たまれたガウンができ上る。第６図で注目すべきことは
、第６図に示された開口２０は袖に腕を通す開口部であ
るということである。第６図に示すたたまれたガウンは
、着用者がガウンをつかんで開口部２０に手を通しガウ
ン金着れるように、着用者にガウンの内部全見せている
。この動作によって袖は引き抜かれ、そのためガウンの
裾又は−帯下の折りたたみ２１はガウンの他の部分から
離れる。これはガウンの下部で布が固着する問題を解決
する。ガウンの上部の折りたたみでは固着の問題は普通
はおきない。
なぜならばガウンの他の部分（上部以外の部分）の重量
がガウンの折りたたみ部分を離すのに十分に大きいから
である。
【図面の簡単な説明】
第１図はガウン、詳しくはガウンの後側の切角斜視図を
示す。 第２図は平らに置いたガウンの前側の等角斜視図を示す
。 第３図はガウンの主部の折りたたみの順序を示す斜視図
である。 第４図は、ガウン主体の一番下の折りたたみ：ｉｌ！分
とこれに＠接する折りたたみ部分の間に袖が挿入される
ところを示す斜視図である。 まれた外科用ガウンを示す斜視図である。 １０・・・主シート、１１・・・タイ、１２・・・移動
式装具、１３・・・袖、１５・・・裾、１７．１８・・

Claims (2)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）　主シートと、これに一体にとりつけられた袖と
    を含んで成る外相用ガウンであって、前記主シートは閉
    鎖した前側と開いた後側をもち、前記後側はガウンの長
    さに延びる縦方向の折りたたみ線に沿ってたたまれ、ガ
    ウンの脇全重ね合わせた折りたたみを形成し、前記ガウ
    ンはガウンの裾からガウンの上端に向かって横方向の折
    りたたみ線に清って用字状に折りたたまれ、重なシ合っ
    た折りたたみを形成し、前記ガウンの袖はガウン主体上
    にガウンの一番下の折、！７たたみ部分とこれに隣接す
    る折やたたみ部分との間にたたみ込まれ、さらにガウン
    ー：縦方向の折りたたみ線に泪ってたたまれ、着用者に
    内面金兄せるようにコンパクトにたたまれたガウンを形
    成している外科用ガウン。
  2. （２）　前記ガウンの後側の両端金、縦に延びる折りた
    たみ線に活って、先づ前方へ折りたたみ次に逆に折シた
    たんで、たたまれたガウンの後側開口を提供する特許請
    求の範囲第１項記載のガウン。
