Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案はインクを噴射するインクノズルを有する印写ヘ
ッドを走査移動することにより印写するインクジェット
記録装置に関するものである。
インクジェット記録装置には印写ヘッドと共にインクタ
ンクをキャリッジに塔載し走査移動する方式のものがあ
る。
この種の装置では走査移動時の振動や反転時の衝撃の影
響によりインクタンク中のインクに振動を生じ、その振
動が印写ヘッドに伝わってインク噴射の安定性を阻害す
るという問題があった。
特にインクタンク中のインクの量が少なくなるとインク
に加えられる振動衝撃の影響が特に大きい。
本考案は従来のインクタンクの上記の問題点を解消する
ことを目的としている。
本考案の詳細を図に示す実施例により説明する。
第１図および第２図においてインクタンク１は仕切板２
により上下の複数の液室３に分割され、各液室３は仕切
板２に設けた小さな連結穴４により連結され、インクは
連結穴４を通って１つの液室３から隣の液室３へと移動
できる。
最下の液室は排出口５により印写ヘッド（図示せず）と
連結され、インクは最下の液室から印写ヘッドへと送り
出される。
最下の液室３がインクにより充満されているとインクタ
ンクが振動を腰衝撃を受けても最下液室のインクは振動
を生じないので印写ヘッドにインクタンクの影響は伝わ
らない。
この場合も上の方のインクの量の少ない液室ではインク
は振動をする。
この構造により最下液室のインク量が常時充満状態であ
るように注意をすれば印写ヘッドにおけるインクの安定
噴射が保証され、高品質な印写が得られる。
最下液室をできるだけ小さくすれば、それだけ多くのイ
ンクを使用する間インクの補給なしでしかも振動の生じ
ない安定印写が得られる。
例えば最下液室を市にする、もしくはインクタンクを１
０に分割すると、面のインクを使用する迄インクの補給
を必要としない。
インクタンクを多くの液室に分割する程、又仕切板に設
ける連結穴の位置をそろえないようにずらす程振動は伝
わりにくくなり一層振動防止効果が上る。
本考案により仕切をした複数の液室を有するインクタン
クという簡単な構造により印写ノズルにインクの振動を
伝えないというすぐれた効果が得られた。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 印写ヘッドに連結され、キャリッジに塔載されて移動す
    るインクタンクを有するインクジェット記録装置におい
    て、インクタンクが仕切板により上下に複数の液室に分
    割されていることと、仕切板に液室を互に連結する連結
    穴が設けられていることを特徴とするインクジェット記
    録装置。
