Claims

A main shaft that supports the carrier of the print head so as to be slidable in the axial direction and is rotatable with respect to the carrier is provided with an eccentric shaft, and by rotating the main shaft around the eccentric shaft, the carrier is rotated as a main shaft. In a printing pressure adjustment mechanism of a printer configured to adjust the gap between the print head and the platen by slight movement in a direction perpendicular to the shaft, the eccentric shaft is connected to a chamfered concentric shaft that is integral with the main shaft. A printing pressure adjustment mechanism characterized in that it is constructed by fitting an eccentric bushing made separately from the main shaft onto a shaft.
