In order to reduce the waste dyeing liquid produced in the process of dyeing wood veneers in the production of artificially decorated wood veneers in this manner, a dyeing technique using a textile printing method has been developed in recent years. in general,
In the textile printing method, dye is applied to a dry wood veneer using a brush or roll coater, and then dyed by steam heat treatment after being loaded. However, during the heat treatment, the dye solution applied to the wood veneer scatters. I had things to do and concentrate on. In order to prevent this, it has been found that it is advantageous to heat-treat the object to be heated (laminated veneer) by sealing it with a vinyl sheet or the like. However, on the other hand, the following contradictory problems arise, and good dyeing cannot be achieved. In other words, if the wood is not sufficiently moist, it will be difficult for the dye to penetrate and diffuse, whereas when applying the dye to the wood veneer prior to that, if the wood is not dry, the dye cannot be applied uniformly. It is. Since the laminated veneer is sealed with a vinyl sheet or the like during heat treatment, moisture is not supplied from the outside, so adjusting the moisture content of the laminated veneer becomes a particular issue.

Figure 1 (al to (el) shows an example of one step of the manufacturing method according to the present invention, and the total moisture content of the raw material veneer is 4.
A wet veneer l of 0% by weight or more should be used. Before applying the staining solution, the surface of the raw material veneer 1 should be irradiated with infrared rays using an infrared lamp 2.The wet veneer 1 should be irradiated with infrared rays near the surface of the raw material veneer 1, that is, at a thickness of 0.1%. The water content is 30% by weight in a part of about mm.
Dry as shown below. This surface drying may be performed by a method other than infrared irradiation, but infrared irradiation facilitates drying only the surface. Thereafter, a dyeing liquid is applied to the material veneer 1 using a brush or a roll coater 3 (C). Stack multiple veneers 4 coated with dye solution.

The degree of sealing should be such that it does not come into direct contact with the outside air, and that outside air and inside air can enter and exit to some extent. Thereafter, the sealed laminated veneer 7 is heated at a temperature of 60° C. or higher for 30 minutes or more to allow the dye to penetrate and diffuse.

The method for producing dyed veneer according to this invention uses a wet veneer with a total moisture content of 40% by weight or more, and the surface of this veneer is coated with a moisture content of 3%.
It is dried to 0% by weight or less, coated with dye, and sealed and heat treated. In other words, by using a sufficiently wet veneer to promote the penetration and diffusion of the dye, and by preheating and drying the surface of the veneer before applying the dye solution, we can ensure the amount and uniformity of the dye application. There are other processes and conditions, such as the color exposition process prior to dyeing,
There are no particular limitations on the type and concentration of the dye or the coating process.

以下、実施例により、より具体的に説明する。Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained in more detail with reference to Examples.

(Example 1) Acid dyes (1, C,
A 0.6% by weight solution of Ac1d Orange 51) was uniformly applied at 140 g/nf. The total moisture content of the veneer before infrared irradiation was 65% by weight. The total amount of heat required to dry the surface of the veneer using an infrared lamp was IQkw. After preheating, a dye was applied, and the amount of dye applied and water content were measured. In addition, as a comparative example, the amount of dye applied and the water content of the veneer to which the dye was applied without drying, and the amount of dye applied and the water content of the veneer to which the dye was applied after drying with hot air as a whole were measured. The results are shown in Table 1.

As shown in Table 1.2, when dye is applied directly to a wet veneer without drying, the amount of application is extremely small, so the variation in heat dyeing is small, but the penetration and diffusion of the dye is insufficient. Ta. In addition, when drying with hot air, the water content of the material veneer was significantly lost, and dye penetration and diffusion did not occur during sealed heat dyeing. [Effects of the Invention] As seen above, the method for producing dyed veneers according to the present invention teeth,
When sealing and heating dyeing wood veneer, the total water content is 40
By using a wet veneer with a moisture content of at least 30% by weight and drying the surface of the wet veneer to a moisture content of 30% or less, it is possible to secure the amount of dye solution applied to the wet veneer surface. At the same time, it is possible to secure the moisture necessary for penetration and diffusion of the dye during sealing and heating. Therefore, in the dyed veneer produced by this manufacturing method, good penetration and diffusion of the dye can be achieved, and a dyed veneer with small color variations can be obtained.

When dyeing wood veneer, in the method of sealing and heating a wet veneer, use the following method to apply the dye uniformly to the surface of the wet veneer and ensure the amount of application. There is. That is, this method uses a highly viscous dye solution as the dye solution applied to the wet veneer surface. With this method, a good amount of dye can be applied even on the wet surface of the veneer, and moisture can be secured during heating, so that the dye can be dyed evenly.

d) A 0.6% by weight solution of Orange 51) was applied uniformly to both surfaces at a rate of 140 to 160 g/day. Polyethylene glycol was used as a thickener. The moisture content of the wet veneer was 55±5% by weight. Twenty-five of the above veneers coated with the highly viscous dye were stacked, sealed with a polyethylene sheet, and heated with steam at a temperature of 100° C. for 2 hours. As a comparative example, the above-mentioned wet veneer was dyed using a conventional method, that is, a method in which a general dye solution was applied and a sealing heat treatment was performed.
