They are divided into two types: memorial towers and generation towers that distribute close ancestors.

This is something that many experts lament.

There are some that use methods such as carving or inscribing sutras. (See Figure 8) However, with this method, the Buddhist statue with the Buddhist name carved and the sutra inscribed is hidden inside the heavy pole stone, so it cannot be easily worshiped, and it is not used as a tombstone. It has the disadvantage of lacking dignity, and if a family member has had a misfortune and a posthumous posthumous name is to be added, the stone pole must be lifted with a crane or the like to remove the Buddha statue, which is a great burden in terms of labor and expense. In Buddhism, the Buddha statues enshrined here have no essential meaning unless they are three in number (this differs depending on the sect, but for example, in the Jodo Shinshu sect, the principal image is Amida Tathagata, the attendant Bodhisattva Kanzeon, and Seishi Bodhisattva. (There are three bodies in total) In the past, there was no tombstone with three bodies enshrined in this sense.

For this purpose, a stone pillar carved with a Buddhist statue is placed inside a tombstone, and the statue carved on the stone pillar can be easily worshiped from the outside, and when a posthumous posthumous name is to be added, the stone pillar with the posthumous posthumous name enshrined therein is very easily removed. It discloses the tombstone that made this possible.

A stone pillar that can be inserted into the recess created by the hollowing out is provided.

If the dimensions are determined so that there is a predetermined interval (11) of 3cm to 5c+a, if rain or the like seeps into the interior, the water droplets will not be transmitted to the Buddha statue face of the stone pillar (7), and the front of the mixture (5

Furthermore, in this embodiment, two lines (15) are carved on the three Buddha statues to make it even more meaningful. This is based on historical and Buddhist grounds that the first pagoda erected in Japan had two lines.

If you make it visible, it can be called a ``private place in the field,'' and its dignity cannot be compared to past tombstones. In addition, the statue carved on the front of this stone pillar is a Buddhist statue ( 14), for example, the meaning is the same even if it is carved with a bonji (14b) representing three Buddha statues, as shown in Figure 5.

), and a notch (16) is also provided in the front of the recess (6) in the upper stand, and if the water bowl (12) is moved as needed, the entire stone pillar (7) can be removed with one finger. The pillar can be pulled out toward the front, making it easy to add the Buddhist name of the person enshrined inside the stone pillar (7) or store sutras. Of course,
Normally, this stone pillar (7) is hidden and protected by the water basin (12), so it is safe and will not be damaged.

Since it is possible to enshrine Yao sutras, this has the remarkable effect of greatly reducing costs and labor.
