帯部裏面に被圧入部を突出させてなる縁帯の該被圧入部
を、最終的に1つの端面において縁帯両端が突き合せら
れるように圧入して該板材に該縁帯を周設する方法であ
つて、前記縁帯両端部を必要長より若干長くして該縁帯
を準備し、前記板材の前端面及び各側端面に前記縁帯の
該前端面及び側端面対応部分を圧入し、次に該縁帯の未
圧入一端部を前記板材の後端面へ向け折り曲げたあと未
圧入他端部を折り曲げて前記一端部に重ね、該重ねられ
た両端部を縁帯を横切る方向に一緒に切断し、残つた該
端部を前記後端面へ圧入することを特徴とする縁帯周設

入させつつ前進させるための送り装置と、前進せしめら
れて両側端面に縁帯を圧入された板材の前端を支えるた
めの板材支持面上に出没自在のストッパと、該ストッパ
に当接した前記板材の後端面へ向け前記ローラの左右方
向移動により折り曲げられ重ねられる前記縁帯の両端部
を該板材後端面の前で受け止めるための該板材支持面上
に出没自在の枕部材と、該枕部材に受け止められた縁帯
の重なり端部を縁帯を横切る方向に一緒に切断する昇降
