The work rolls 1 and 1' are supported in the same direction, and in opposite directions between the upper and lower parts of the first intermediate roll. The intersection point (shoulder) K of the tapered portion T and the roll flat portion F with respect to the width of the strip 5 is located toward the center of the width of the strip from the surface edge of the strip. If the width of the plate changes, the first intermediate rolls 2, 2' are structured to be able to move in the axial direction.
It is structured so that it moves in opposite directions, up and down.

That is, FIG. 8 shows an overview of the distribution of the rolling load on the strip and the bending state of the work rolls, and now the shoulders K of the first intermediate rolls 2, 2' are aligned with the width B of the strip 5. On the other hand, if the first intermediate roll 2 is set closer to the center of the width of the board than the edge of the width of the board.

As shown in M, the upper work roll 1 bends as shown by the symbol A, and the first work roll 1' curves upward from the roll axis as shown by the bending force and the tapered shoulder K. The apex of this curve occurs closer to the center of the plate than point K, and a wave as shown by symbol E is generated in this part of the strip. But b
If =o, waves will not be formed, but in order to prevent edge drops on the end faces of the strip, it is not possible to set b=o. Furthermore, the size of the waves differs depending on b and rolling load.

37360, which is equipped with a device that applies a force to bend back the work rolls 2, 2' bent by the tapered part T, which is the roll neck part of the first intermediate rolls 2, 2', or A roll neck part with a smaller diameter than the roll flat part is attached to one shaft end, and this roll neck part is located near the end of the strip that passes between the upper and lower work rolls, and the roll flat part of this roll neck part A rolling mill has been proposed in which a roll support portion having the same or approximately the same diameter as the roll flat portion is provided at the opposite position.
しかし前者では、第1中間ロール径が小さく。However, in the former case, the diameter of the first intermediate roll is small.

あった。Creating a structure that allows changes in bending force in response to changes in rolling conditions, etc., to be easily performed by remote control in a short period of time is essential.
It was difficult. In the latter case, the bending force applied to the first intermediate roll is determined by the rolling conditions of the strip to be rolled, but if you want to change the bending force applied to the first intermediate roll, you can change the bending force applied to the first intermediate roll. As a result, the number of first intermediate rolls in stock increases, and there is a problem in that the operating rate of the equipment is poor.

The first intermediate roll is movable in the roll axis direction, and the first intermediate roll has a diameter smaller than the roll flat part to prevent the strip width end from being subjected to strong pressure. In a multi-high rolling mill in which a roll neck portion is formed, the second intermediate roll is composed of a plurality of rolls, at least one of which is movable in the roll axis direction. Both ends of the movable second intermediate roll are supported by roll benders, and the roll benders apply a bending force to the second intermediate roll in a direction convex toward the strip side. According to the present invention, the flat end portions of the upper and lower first intermediate rolls are located inwardly near the mountain ends of the strip, and support the first intermediate rolls. Since a bending force is applied to the upper and lower second intermediate rolls by the roll bender in a direction convex toward the strip side, the work rolls during rolling are held approximately in a straight line and act on the strip through the first work roll. The rolling load is distributed approximately evenly in the width direction of the strip.

。First, the arrangement and shape of each roll in this embodiment will be explained based on FIG. 4. First intermediate roll 12.12
' is composed of a flat part F that applies a rolling load to the work roll 11.11' and a tapered part T formed in a tapered shape, and the intersection of the flat part F and the tapered part T ( As a result, stress is not concentrated on the small end of the strip 5 via the work rolls 11, 11', and the occurrence of edge drops is suppressed. The upper and lower second intermediate rolls each consist of three rolls, and the middle roll 14.14' located in the center has a versil part V that transmits the rolling load to the second intermediate roll, and a versil part V at both ends thereof. The roll neck portion N has a smaller diameter, and the end portion VE of the versil portion V is located inwardly near the mountain end portion of the strip 5, and the roll neck portion N is provided with a bending cylinder 20. 20', 21°21'
The bending forces Q and Q' are applied by the bending forces Q and Q'. The magnitude of this bending force Q can be changed depending on the amount of rolling of the strip 5 by using the bending cylinders 20, 20'', 21, 21'.

Upper and lower work rolls that apply rolling force to the strip, upper and lower first intermediate rolls that support the upper and lower work rolls, and upper and lower first intermediate rolls that support the first intermediate rolls. The first intermediate roll is movable in the roll axis direction, and the first intermediate roll includes a roll having a diameter smaller than the roll flat part in order to prevent the strip width end from being subjected to strong pressure. In a multi-high rolling mill in which a neck portion is formed, the second intermediate roll is composed of a plurality of rolls, at least one of which is movable in the roll axis direction; The possible second intermediate roll is supported at both ends by a roll bender, and the roll bender applies a bending force to the second intermediate roll in the direction of convexity on the strip side. A multi-high rolling mill characterized by a rounded shape. 2. The multi-stage rolling according to claim 1, wherein the second intermediate roll movable in the axial direction of the roll has a roll neck part smaller in diameter than the roll barrel part formed at the end of the roll. Machine. 3. The upper and lower second intermediate rolls that are movable in the roll axis direction move in the opposite direction to the moving direction of the upper and lower first intermediate rolls, and the upper and lower first intermediate rolls and the lower second intermediate rolls 2. The multi-high rolling mill according to claim 1, wherein the rolling mills move in opposite directions.
